Recent interview with Ellen Page at Collider.com:

Quote:
Collider: Are you still filming Inception?

Ellen Page: Yeah, it’s still going.

Collider: Is that a six month shoot?

Ellen: It’s about a five month shoot. We’re having a blast. We’ve shot in a lot of different places so it kind of feels like…you know you do your England leg and then your France and then we were in Morocco and now we’re in L.A. It is a blast and I’m having so much fun. Working with Chris Nolan is a dream. He’s amazing to work with and a lovely guy. There is no ego at all. He’s just a filmmaker. You know what I mean. And that is totally obvious in his films. He’s an incredible filmmaker…but working with him is such a pleasure and often me and the other cast members will reflect on just how excited we are just to be in his movie. I feel like a little kid.

Collider: I saw on YouTube a train going through downtown Los Angeles.

Ellen: My lips are sealed.

Collider: It looked very cool.

Ellen: Just don’t try and find out more. Just love it when it comes out in July. It’s going to be really cool.

The bolded part is one reason that Nolan is my favorite director. The guy is very humble despite his ability and track record. He isn't one of those egomaniac screaming types (cough...James Cameron...cough).

They were trying to appeal to the teeny bopper Dawson's Creek audience by casting her in Batman Begins.

What do you mean by semi-soft? Memento and Insomnia are loaded with f-bombs. As for The Dark Knight, there is no graphic violence thanks to the editing of the film. But the ideas themselves are indeed pretty dark. Joker knocks off how many guys in the first 5 minutes of the movie? LOL.
Soft as in if I made a make believe scale of all R rated films then I think Insomnia and Memento would be on the lower end of that scale.

As an aside I still think that Katie Holmes performance in Batman Begins is the most overblown criticism ever. She was more than adequate and had a better look for the part than Gyllenhaal did. Plus I'd rather have the continuity exist over the two films. /beating dead and buried horse

Holmes is better looking than Gyllenhaal no doubt, but she looked like a teenager in Batman Begins. For someone who is an assistant D.A., it wasn't a very believable choice in casting. I thought her acting was alright except for the scene where she talks out of the side of her mouth when she and Bruce are in the car after Joe Chill gets shot.

Fair enough. I also thought her and Bale had much better physical chemistry in the first film although that may have been partly due to the script/plot lending itself to that more than The Dark Knight.

I do give kudos to Gyllenhaal for the Lau interrogation scene. She owned that and defined her character in a matter of minutes.

I agree. That was her one GOOD scene in the movie. Everything else was "meh."

It has no spoilers. There is one possible spoiler but if you've seen the teaser it's nothing you didn't already know.

It might be a HUGE spoiler, but to everyone who wants to read the article but are worried, it has a spoiler warning.

Kinda funny how nobody knows anything about this movie, then when some potential news pops up it may contain spoilers so we're still in the same spot of not knowing anything.

Nolan has my money, just like with Batman and the others, the less I know the better.

I read many a spoiler for a lot of movies I see (I've ready everything there is to read about Iron Man 2 for example), but this one, I'm going to remain as blind as I possibly can. Trailer and non-spoiler articles.

He should have made Bale the lead, it would continue the Bale/Nolan team but I think it's moreso Nolan/Caine. Oh and Nolan's a great director but I honestly believe he doesn't understand Batman.
