From Synapse Films' Facebook:

Since a bunch of indie DVD/Blu companies have been doing some great announcements, I feel like we should, too. We have two really cool Blus/DVDs in the works for 2014. Hmmm... should I wait to announce, or should I put something up?

They are both 80s slashers. There... maybe a little more info later.
Popular guesses/requests from Facebook users seem to be Hell Night and Blood Rage but there's no telling.

Who wants the 1994 adult animated horror thriller from Germany "Felidae" released from these guys? an excellent film with the voice of Cary Elwes, it's kind of like Aristocats meets Perfect Blue as it's quite gory, thrilling and dark.

Synpase should get the US rights to do a BD with both English Dub and German language in subtitles with extras like interviews, trailers, German TV spot and audio commentary.

Maybe the Slayer or Scalps or a movie with the word "DONT" in the beginning

Ohlala more horror blu's and 80's slashers to boot...extremely nice! This year is truly the year for horror films on blu-ray.

I think Code Red still has the rights to Madman.

I'd love Hell Night and The Mutilator.

I'm sure it will be The Mutilator because I finally decided to buy the German uncut DVD. You are all welcome!

Any idea how big a difference there is in the uncut version and the cut version? I had the old Vipco disc from the UK a while back but sold it when someone offered me a good bit for it.

Agreed, except this latest announcement is for next year . I'm not even gonna bother guessing - it's too damn early.

Some are speculating that Night of the Demons might be one of these Synapse Films releases. Night of the Demons director Kevin Tenney hinted the producers are in talks to license Night of the Demons for a blu-ray and Synapse Films announcement of two 80s slasher films occurred around the same time. Although, NOTD is not a slasher movie.

Their announcement was that they have 2 cool titles in the works for 2014, not that they have anything to actually announce for now . The Argento titles are also coming next year. Seems like the Demons films are the only titles on their plate for the time being.

Odd Angry Shot is coming in August, and I'll bet they'll have something (BD and/or DVD) coming before the year is up. Maybe Countess Dracula since that's been in the pipe for years

I'd kill for them to be Alone in the Dark and Hell Night, two of my favorites.
