So I'm guessing the rights to the rest of the series reverted back to SimCom, just as Prom Night 2 did earlier this year, and Echo Bridge now has DVD rights, but Synapse has already proven the blu-ray rights are separate.
Could we see a Prom Night Collection in Synapse's future?

I though Lionsgate Films had the other Prom Night movies, 3: The Last Kiss & 4: Deliver Us From Evil??

Is echo bridge like mill creek now, releasing films they don't own!

Just realized that I need to update the shipping address for my Demons steelbooks, but there doesn't appear to be any way to edit your oders from Synapse's web page. Anyone run into this?

edit: Wow, as I type that I get an response from Don, thanking me for the order and asking Jerry to update the order. Talk about treating your customers well and speedily. Synapse rocks

Lionsgate owned them through the Artisan catalog, but now they lie with the original rightsholder, like all of the other Prom Night films and Curtains. They are all with Echo Bridge now. 1-4.

Which means...
SYNAPSE HAS ACCESS TO EVERY PROM NIGHT FILM!

I hope we get them soon, maybe he is working on a box set, but I doubt it. It's not impossible though, and it wouldn't surprise me. It's just a matter of if he picked them up while getting Prom Night and Curtains.

A Prom Night Collection - now THAT is something I would do cartwheels over . I'm holding onto my abominable Artisan DVDs for now but I'd like to turn them into coasters sometime soon.

You might want to contact Synapse directly to see if they're at least aware of the situation.

Has anyone asked Synapse about the likelihood of either Sex & Fury or Thriller: A Cruel Picture/They Call Her One Eye making their way to Blu-ray?

This would be nice if the announcement Synapse Films has Prom Night 1 was quickly followed by an announcement they have Prom Night 1-4. Now that collection is something I'd pay limited edition steelbook prices for.

Yeah, the producers asked around for a distributor, Scream Factory said no, but everyone says Synapse got NotD, and maybe Witchboard.

yeah i spoke to Jerry and Don at a con in Chicago..i asked them and the said highly unlikely. Jerry said not because of film elements or anything like that but dealing with the director/owner of the film was the a horrible experience that they will never deal with again.. although i would assume that anything is poss when money can be made
