That's a pretty cool little movie. Michael Moriarty is great in the dual role. Since it's Italian and unreleased on DVD, I could see Raro Video doing a blu...they've certainly gone far more obscure than that...

taken from the comments section on there facebook page about the two new slasher releases not being announced yet

"I'll blame Jerry on that... I was all set to let everyone know what they were, and he vetoed my idea! He said we should wait to let everyone know what they were."

Now that would be nice.

Who agrees that they did a nice job with the Vampire Circus and Twins of Evil BDs and are better looking than those bootleg DVDs fans held on to for years after they bought those bootleg DVDs from conventions? nice extras too.

When will we get Countess Dracula?

Twins of Evil is one of my favorite Blu-ray's, for the film and the Special Features. I love "The Flesh and the Fury: X-Posing Twins of Evil" documentary, it's awesome. I can't wait for Hands of the Ripper in a couple weeks.

The suspense is killing me. Dying to see which 80s slasher movies will be released!

I feel the same way! I'm hoping for one of those titles to be Neon Maniacs!

Maybe one of the titles will be this obscurity (and video nasty) from 1982:

Another great movie but like The Mutilator and others, that never had a proper/or had a very limited DVD release. I just feel like if some of these movies never made it to DVD, when everything else did, there must be a reason, and that reason is probably in the way of a blu release too.

But I would take The Slayer in a heartbeat.

True, but Synapse did rescue The Dorm that Dripped Blood from a similar fate. I'll admit though, I've given up hope on The Mutilator ever getting a legit release...

I have never seen The Slayer. I would buy that in a heartbeat.

Neon Maniacs is not really a slasher and it's pretty boring for the most part.

The Dragon dvd of The Mutilator isn't so bad...it's a little dark but it's prolly the best we'll ever get, and honestly it's not worth fretting over a better release anyways (IMO). I think most of that film's reputation comes from the fact that it's so difficult to track down.

Now if they REALLY wanted to impress fans with an obscure 80s slasher there is only 1 film for the job.....THE CARDS OF DEATH!!! Easily the all time most difficult slasher to obtain a copy of.

I'd agree with you on The Mutilator. It's not the holy grail of slashers but its still a pretty decent film that I'd like to see cleaned up a bit. The Vipco dvd I have leaves a lot to be desired and I don't know if its the film or what I'd assume is the direct from VHS transfer.

I have Cards of Death on what might be one of the worst looking dvd-r's ever. It didn't hold my attention. Cool concept though.

The only thing who prevent a release of this film is the fact no film prints were found. A tape master exist but it isn't enough for a release... BTW the rights of this one belongs to Code Red for many other years.

None of those movies is The Slayer or Neon Maniacs

Another really rare one is Satan's Blade. Always wanted to see it, but I kinda doubt Synapse got that one, though.

Or perhaps, they'll shock us all with Iced

I got around to watching a few of the synapse titles in my collection over the last few days (thou shall not kill except, red scorpion) and I think synapse does a really good job with blu rays. they put out quality product. which makes me all the more bummed that demons is cost 45 dollars! im at the point where I want it to sell out I don't go and spend way to much money for it.

I didn't see Cards of Death on IMDB - is it more commonly known under a different title?

Edit: Nevermind, I found a few reviews online. Japanese VHS only, surprised it isn't floating around on any of the torrent sites.
