Marco Polo also looks amazing, but I've already watched every episode.

I didn't think the older movies on Netflix were particularly impressive.

The new Netflix series Bloodlines is also available in 4K as of a couple days ago.
As an aside, in regards to next gen video, WCG (wider than BT. 709 colorimetry) will be most fruitful with animation titles.

You'd think an award-winning VFX house like Rhythm & Hues going under would also get the attention of the top brass, but clearly not.

Too late to win free tickets, but…..New Yorkers act fast, as it’s still time for American Express card holders to step ahead of the general public in order to procure tickets to the Tribeca Closing Night Celebration of GoodFellas (remaster, supervised by Scorsese, is derived from ‘a 4K scan of the OCN’).…http://tribecafilm.com/stories/2015-...artin-scorsese

In lieu of being able to attend, I think dem GoodFellas would be a nice title for WBHE to offer in the Ultra HD Blu-ray format.

In order to whet the appetite of football/soccer connoisseurs like PeterTHX, who yearn with unbridled anticipation to someday see Juan Mata’s recent goal against Liverpool in all its real time, rather than slow motion glory (i.e. clarity)…

I’ll add (to the quote above) that in the pursuit of next gen television viewing investigation, at the track championships mentioned previously, 4K (2160p) HDR content was also captured at 100, 200, 300 and 1000 fps, progressive. Less blur.

And what a goal it was. I hate Man U but I was applauding the TV when that went in. The quality of the game itself didn't trouble El Clasico later that day, but there's no doubting which was the goal of the weekend.

I was shocked at that my self I hope no one notices and that it falls of deaf ears resulting in many more going the same way.

Are you saying there was an El Clasico match that same day!!!! (I don’t want to google for the answer, for if so, I’m afraid the final score will be revealed to me in the process). If I missed it, maybe I can search my cable service for rerun of the match. To be clear, Geoff, you mean to say that Barca played Real Madrid on the same day as Liverpool played United last week ? ? ?

100 fps material was shot using shutter angles of 180° and 360° degrees.

That is correct, sir. 22nd of March saw both fixtures. And as luck would have it I didn't ruin the score for you this time, even though I'd assumed that someone as clued-up as yourself would've at least been aware of it.

Geoff, I can’t get the match , still trying. Is it worth the pursuit or was the match without much drama? I’d thought since this is an off weekend with La Liga and other Prem leagues in Europe, maybe I could catch a rerun on cable. Peter, did you by any chance record it??? Is so, I’ll bring piazza and beer.

I need the week off with the nerve wracking match my team have coming up. Newcastle at home in a make or break match. It doesn't get more tense than that for us. I will be indulging in pizza after the match regardless. healthy eating goes out of the window when I'm this nervous!

It was a decent game. Like I said, none of the goals outshone Mata's stunner but hey, it's El Clasico so the quality of the football itself is light years beyond the EPL.
