I'm gonna join you in that sentiment. Ranieri's a lovely man, but I have no need to see Tom Hanks or anyone else glorify him.

As the character study of Miracle ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0349825/ ) also transcended the sport of ice hockey, I think that Miracle was well accepted if one considers the 7.5 rating and reads the User Reviews, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0349825/reviews?ref_=tt_urv

As I'm typing this post the tech specs on imdb for Café Society are actually incomplete as they only list the Sony F65 camera; however, fact is, the F55 was utilized for the steadicam shots. Among the cameras in the Sony CineAlta stable, the F65 remains the Gold standard for big screen projection if one has a critical eye, although if the cinematographer is careful during acquisition the F65 and F55 intercut well in post as mentioned last August.

As an aside, in the DI suite after having seen how well an HDR grade improves/expands the picture quality as compared to truncated traditional (SDR) grading and delivery, Vittorio Storaro was very excited by the possibility of sometime doing an HDR version of Café Society.

P.S. And as one recalls, the Miracle on Ice was only 1,000 to 1 odds.

You might like to see a movie about Leicester penton but the idea is stupid and how would it go down in the U.S for example.

Yeah, my experience with 'real life events' football docudramas leaves me entirely cold on the sub-genre. So much screen time must be devoted to explaining the intricacies and dramatizing the odds for the uninitiated that it just becomes a dreary slog for anyone already familiar. I don't care for these movies in general and, in particular, I don't really care to see one about LCFC.

I must say, the sight of Leonardo DiCaprio trying to convince me that he's Jamie Vardy would be good for a laugh, though.

It doesn't have to be some dull docudrama! If they make a film then it'll need a hook which will surely be along the lines of Rocky but for football, with Jamie Vardy as the central character, rising from non-league obscurity and troubles in his private life to become a record-breaking title-winning England international. You guys have no soul, I blame that Arsene Wenger for bleeding y'all dry.

During a mass last weekend, I noticed one of the kids who helped the priest hand out communion was wearing a Leicester jersey (we’re a rather informal lot Sat. evening at my local church).

Also, something went wrong with the Time Warner cable nodes at the headend servicing my local neck of the southern California woods resulting in subscribers not receiving the ManU v. Leicester City match over cable (nbcsn channel 314 showed a totally black screen). Time Warner was inundated with complaint calls.

Although both of the above are humble anecdotal local experiences, it’s a good sign that we here in the U.S. may be late to the football/soccer party, but we’re slowly but surely getting onboard. I feel a Leicester story out of Hollywood (preferably shot with the F55 http://images.marketing.pro.sony.eu/...course_PDF.pdf

would serve those who believe and have faith in the better qualities of mankind as well as helping grow the sport in the U.S. and actually do well for the reputation of the Prem worldwide giving it more exposure.

Why made the 4K Blu-ray editions, so cheep in presentation but more expensive. it should have at least a slipcover and better than the 3D edition.
