Am i the only one who finds the back cover of premonition rather amusing? look at how the pictures are lined up serious face , car blowing up then the two characters laughing i think its a bit silly

man, if i didnt already own 2 of the movies (Superman and Departed), I'd be all over that best of set. Love seeing them all together like that!

Goodfellas looks like rubbish, IMO - yet another Warner 'smoothie', and whatever source they used for the transfer was in pretty bad condition too. HD-DVD fanbois have a nerve to complain about Fifth Element after that filth from Warner - which was available on red discs long before Blu ones, and is of course just a port over from the crippled side, as usual.

And another thing, the skin tones look like orange Kool-Aide, which the fanbois must have been drinking to rate it so highly, especially the usual suspects over at High-Def Digest.

Neither Warner nor Universal are doing Microsoft any favours with their poor PQ releases using VC-1. It leads to the same problem we had at BD launch, where people simply blamed it on MPEG-2.

Also, Paramount has shifted to AVC, even on HD DVD. You notice how quiet the A-man and Ben are about that? They slander Rich Casey of RBFilms who is at least using VC-1, but are totally silent about being given the boot by Paramount.
