I spent quite a bit of time doing image re-composition from the stupid Amazon.com Zoom tool to create these high quality copies of the new James Bond steelbooks' cover art for use on DVDAF, so I figure I might as well post them here too:

A Norwegian Web site has said that Paramount intends to release a set of the first three 'Star Trek' movies on Blu-ray on May 13, along with the Blu-ray debut of the remastered/redone first season of The Original Series that was released on HD DVD. Hopefully we'll hear any rumors for US release..

Oh well, that's why there are custom blu-ray covers out there.

I for one will NOT be getting Falling Down because it is a digibook. I love the movie, but I do not want a book in my BD collection.

Do you think WB sells MORE or LESS blu-rays that are digi-books than they would if they came in a standard case?? I think it's less.

Ridiculous not to buy it because it's in digibook format.

The case is no bigger than a standard DVD.

I watch the movies, not the cases they come in.

I just can't figure out why Warner does the whole digibook thing in the first place. It can't be much cheaper, if at all, than a normal case and they only do it for certain movies. It just doesn't make any sense to me. If anybody should do a case like that it's Criterion. At least for them it would make sense and would actually be a step up from the crap cases they currently use.
