was a universal title that was released on hd dvd...it will eventually be released on blu ray because universal has said they will release on blu ray but no official date has been given...just sit tight

Yes, but I simply find it odd that X2 has been announced and is listed on the Web site, while X1 has not yet been announced. Just seems a little weird to me.

In films I want to see lots of things including 10 things I hate about you, American beauty, Cube, FF Advent Children, The Matrix, Mean Girls, Monty Python Holy Grail, Shaun of the Dead, Star Trek (various films) and in TV basicly I want to see Desperate Housewives and Bones.

But I guess "why release GOOD films when you can release crappy ones instead"... no wait, that doesn't even make sence.

Can someone explain why they keep releasing complete rubbish? I'd understand if they released good films though not necessarily MY first choices because they can't release EVERYTHING at once and I don't have exquisite taste in movies all the time... but come on, Warner releases The Perfect Storm ($120m gross, bored me to tears) and they're still dragging their feet on The Matrix ($460m gross, ones of the best films ever)? Why don't they release the killer titles ASAP? I don't mean rush them out and have them poor quality but at least give us a release date and tell us you're working on them, and put less effort in to releasing rubbish movies nobody cares about.

Blu-Ray desperately needs to release Spy Game, Mr. & Mrs. Smith (Unrated), Walk the Line (Director's Cut), Master and Commander (w/Collector's Edition cover), Cinderella Man, Braveheart, The Passion of the Christ, Gladiator (Extended Edition), Titanic, Ray, Hotel Rwanda, and The Good Shepherd!!!

I've searched and searched but I cannot find out when the Namoi Watts King Kong (2005) movie will be released on Blu-ray.
