Default Grey's Anatomy in Blu

One of the big reasons I was ablle to convince my woman to let me get the PS3 was that we could watch Grey's Anatomy in Blu Ray. Anyone know if this will be sooner or later?

Angry Cool Hand Luke and Gladiator needs to go Blu!

It's sad when titles like Norbit get released on BD yet wonderful classics like Cool Hand Luke and the amazing Gladiator can't even get announced! I know it's still a new format and once Blu-ray wins the war, we will all see our favorites come to Blu. Just venting my frustration.

Norbit is BD because it is a new release! While the DVD menus, chapters, artwork, etc are being worked on it makes sense to go ahead and spend the $ on a BD version while you are at it. Scrapping up old titiles like CHL and making new menus and chapters and encoding is a lot more work than something that is a new release. That is not an excuse to not release classics like CHL on BD but just a reason why most new releases will see either BD or HD DVD.. it is a matter of convenience and saves $ in the long run.

As us consumers are yelling at Universal as loudly as we can: "What we have here is a failure to communicate". :-)

The reason why these titles are not on BD is because "What we got here is a failure to communicate"...

Well after reading the interview with the Universal Executive, he said he is continuing the format war to "help" the consumers and studios. He says as long as this war continues, prices will keep dropping. Eventually, when BD players hit the $200 mark, then the final winner will be decided by consumers since everything will be priced the same.

Even if both players were the exact same price, and had the same features, I would still pick Blu-ray just because of its exclusive movies.

Pirates 3 on Blu-ray? What can beat that?

Any chance of seeing "DOOM" go blu? Didn't see it listed.I know it was a sappy computer game horror, but I really enjoyed it. I would really dig the "video game" sequence in HD.

I think some of the cult classics need more attention in going to blu.

I was just browsing the Blu-ray section on bestbuy.com and Dude Where's My Car was listed there.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....oduct&id=36913

It was listed there several months ago and on the "release date" listed there it was listed as backordered and then weeks later dissapeared completely. Now it has magically returned. Is this just a Best Buy screw up, or could be the first sign of things to come from 20th Century Fox. If it is an indicator then it's about damn time!
