I think everything is region free except Quantum of Solace.

But, Foxconnect has the US release, with a nice Aston Martin die-cast model for $99.99. It does include Spectre.

The UK version is missing the original soundtracks on many of the early Bonds if you care about that sort of thing. But you get Casino Royale uncut. Swings and roundabouts.

Interesting. When you say earlier films are missing the original soundtracks, do you mean the original mono/stereo tracks (only in new surround), or have sound effects/music been altered/changed?

Yeah the original mono soundtracks for the most part.

It's the reason I bought the US set and a UK Casino to get everything

Both. FRWL and Goldfinger have very good 5.1 mixes that are reasonably faithful to the original mixes, but all of the other mono Bond films have all sorts of intrusive new sound effects, some of which can only be described as awful.

You're better off buying the actors sets.

You can then get Craig's UK set (with uncut Casino Royale) and then rest from the US (with original audio).

Must've been a Fox/Sony rights issue in terms of domestic/international distribution and they never fixed it for re-releases.

Just realized I asked in the other thread by mistake - does the UK Bond Collection 1-24 (white box) contain all the previous extras? If not, how do the extras compare to older sets? And how are the discs stored? Are they sleeves or real hubs? They're not double-stacked or anything are they?

Do you get the extra that contains all the bond openings to view in one feature?

This looks pretty cool, but it's one of those things I don't like to buy because I know there are just going to be more movies made in the future, and I dislike seeing single titles next to collections of the same ilk. It looks awkward and I'm anal about it. With that said, they are unlikely to ever stop making 007 movies so I'll probably just have to suck it up at some point.

At least the black "Ultimate James Bond Collection" has that bonus disc with "Everything or Nothing", so that's something to make buying a box set that will inevitably become incomplete worthwhile.

But will we get them in 1 set or will they do the same awful releases they did when the BD’s came out. I hope I’m wrong but they may just release the Craig’s first in 1 set.
