You can get the white boxset of 24 films for $80, sometimes less at Black Friday and duing other sales. That's barely over $3 per film, so even if you don't like a few, it's hardly a waste, compared to buying them individually. And who knows, you might discoev you love one you never expected to.

The black box was produced in limited quantities. It contained an extra disc, with the official feature-length Bond franchise making-of documentary, "Everything or Nothing."

The documentary is AMAZING, but I already owned the 50th Anniversary BD set, so it wasn't worth rebuying the set just for that one disc.

If you can find the black box at a reasonable price, go for it. The doc is definitive, they got basically everyone who worked on the films except Sean Connery to talk.

I wouldn't hold out too long for UHD.

There's always a chance MGM will release a UHD boxset for the 60th anniversary this fall, but that seems honestly unlikely at this point, doing one to tie in with the last Bond film would have made more sense.

Yes, a UHD set may come, but it's also conceivable that the films go OOP eve on BD, and become streaming-only on Amazon, now that they own MGM...

I'd say the chances of a UHD set this year are still pretty decent. The full collection debuted on BD for its 50th anniversary in 2012, so a new set with all 25 films for its 60th seems like a no brainer.

I'd love nothing more than to be wrong. I'd love to get UHDs to replace the current BDs, which look decent but dated. I'll be pleasantly surprised if it happens.

I'd love that, but I'm afraid it would break the bank!

You would have to be Goldfinger to be able to afford a 4K UHD set of all the Bond films.

So they are currently re releasing the Bond films at the Cinema, once a week, I'm betting once we get to NTTD the new UHD set will be announced if not ready to buy in Oct/Nov.

If they do release a huge Complete Bond 4K UHD box set they should automatically knock off $20 of what they were going to charge for making you get No Time To Die.
