UK set from 2015 is the cheapest on Amazon right now in terms of the outdated sets:

Only catch is that Quantum Of Solace is region locked. Then again, might not be a big loss considering this is QOS we're talking about.

Yeah, that one does look nice... it's just only available secondhand for around $160.

QOS is better than the last two Bond films.

Skyfall is an excellent movie but it's a terrible Bond in my view. My least favorite of the 5 Craig films.

Throw in plain disc menus that aren't fumbling and stumbling over their own cuteness and not so clever cleverness. I hate the menus on the Blus.

I also would like a new transfer on THUNDERBALL which looked pretty worn out to me.

But for the money, the white box is more than worth it and includes SPECTRE, which the black box doesn't.

It's a big part of the "hobby" for some and I rank it highly myself. I display my collection like I would a library of classic books and I sure look at the packaging on a daily basis more than I watch each movie so I care about packaging a lot and consider it all part of the film's experience. When you see a movie at the theater you often see the poster for the movie outside the theater, so that is a part of the original presentation, which many of us are trying replicate in our "home" theaters. It's like saying book covers are worthless because all that matters is READING the book, yet book collectors all over the world place great worth on cover art.

I love SKYFALL, but I don't even consider NO TIME TO DIE a "Bond film." It's more like a Bond Film made for the Hallmark Channel.

Night Of The Demons?

Of course, NO TIME TO DIE. You could have figured that out, I think, despite my error? Here's a hint: I did not mean YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE.

Shouldn’t it be NTTD?

despite the awful ending of No Time To Die, I found it to be one of the better Daniel Craig outings. The best of his is still Casino Royale and the weakest is Quantum of Solace.

I apparently like QOS better than most fans, as I didn't really have a big problem with the film. I think the primary problem for fans is just that the plot isn't "big" enough, if that make sense, as the villain was just after the water rights in a particular country. That's pretty low-key by Bond villain standards.

One thing that I hope they do moving forward with Bond is do more one-off movies rather than trying to tie the plots of the future movies together. I felt like the script writers were having to really work hard and force things in order to find a way to tie the 5 Daniel Craig Bond movies together plot-wise. I think it's a mistake to try to get that many movies to fit together, as it's hard to make the plot(s) coherent across that many movies. Edit: if they are going to try to tie movies together plot-wise, just do it with 2 consecutive Bond movies but don't try to do it with 4 or 5 Bond movies like with the Craig films. It's just too much.

I rewatched them all a year or so ago and QOS is like, bottom 3 easily, of all of them. The script is a complete mess, the action and editing is incoherent, it's just a shoddily made film. Bond on a vengeance spree following on from CR is fine in theory but the execution was botched. Despite problems with his others, I think Craig's did end up being the more consistent run otherwise.

I find QoS more rewatchable than Skyfall. The former I find more to like about it each time, and the latter holds together less with each subsequent viewing.
