Thanks. Isn't my account flagged as a Canadian account, though? Is it just as a easy as using a VPN? Sorry, I don't use UV much, I've only been adding the codes for the hell of it in case I ever want to use it in the future.

I redeem all my UV codes and they are all from the US/UK/Canada. The only problem I have is watching them through Vudu. Need a VPN for that.

Through the Flixster app I get minimal problems.

Every other disc says ©2012 with the title printed in yellow. These were all originally released in 2008-09, and aside from a few different versions of Casino Royale, I'm not aware of any differences in the other ones.

Anyone know if any changes were made? I'm going to rip GoldenEye when I get home to see if some miracle happened and they remastered it.
Try to see if Everything or Nothing has been added to one of those with the 2015 date.

Will do. Probably won't be until late tonight/tomorrow morning, though.

Has anyone had luck finding the Brosnan collection at Target? I want to check their site for inventory at local stores but I can't find it anywhere on the site. I'm finding these ones just fine:

Connery 1
Connery 2
Moore 2

Moore 1 and Craig are nowhere to be found, either. I'm assuming Target just needs to get their act together, but I do wonder what people out there are actually finding in the stores. I most just wanted the UV codes, but at $15 it might be worthwhile to get a set or two.

I grabbed 2 Brosnan's from mine in Rockaway, NJ. They had 1 more this morning. I may be looking to return one and sell the other w/o the digital copies if anyone is interested.

Amazon Canada still has this for 169.99 CAD. After the conversion and the added shipping to the USA, the cost was $135.00 US. Not bad.

Thinking about picking up a steelbook or two.

What are the top five James Bond films?

...how would y'all rank them?

You're going to get a wide variety of answers on that one. Seeing as only 9 titles have been released in Steelbook form at the moment, I'd suggest these five from that line only for someone who is new to the series:

Casino Royale
Thunderball
On Her Majesty's Secret Service
For Your Eyes Only
You Only Live Twice

Top five available in steelbook:
  • Casino Royale
  • Thunderball
  • On Her Majesty's Secret Service
  • For Your Eyes Only
  • Skyfall
and in that order.

What are these on Amazon? Do they not include digital copies like the others?

Correct - the Dalton and Lazenby actor sets have no codes, which is evil.

So in order to get those codes, I need go with the individual releases? There goes my planned consistency.

Also, do the volumes have slipcovers on them? I haven't seen any pictures of them yet.

Sorry, one last question: Is getting the volumes the cheapest way to get the movies with digital? Where is the lowest price?

Yeah, it was a crap move. If you really want uniformity you'd need to buy the digital separately. I understand that the digital copies are grouped by volume, too, so if you're concerned with uniformity in your digital collection there's another thing to consider.

I don't think so, but I don't know. I imagine that these are the plastic version of the Craig steelbook that was posted a page or two back.

If you want uniformity for the best price, you're best bet is to wait for the Amazon exclusive set to come down in price. $130 from Canada isn't terrible, though. If you buy the six $15 actor sets from Target this week, plus deal with Dalton and Lazenby, you can probably come in pretty close to that. Those are the best deals I'm aware of.

So I saw this at Target:

Only Connery 1 ($14.99), Moore 1 ($9.99), Brosnan 1 ($9.99), and Craig ($14.99). They all have the same style slip box. Hope to find the others soon.

From Russia With Love
On Her Majesty's Secret Service
Goldfinger
Dr. No
The Spy Who Loved Me

Honorable mention.

Casino Royale
The Living Daylights
Thunderball
Goldeneye-But I would skip this BD for the time being. It really needs a re-master.
