The James Bond complete collection does not have digital copy.
The Amazon exclusive James Bond collection includes digital copy. Dalton BluRays are nowhere to be found. Daltons and NSNA are $13.99 each for HDX on VUDU. |

There is a lot of confusion and misinformation about the two new James Bond BD collections, The Collection and The Ultimate Collection supposedly available only from Amazon. But many dealers on eBay are showing this black Amazon collection, but they're listing it under the UPC for the standard collection, 883904334330. And vice-versa.
The black Amazon-only set has the Digital HD, but the white standard set does not, that's why it's about a hundred bucks less. As well as the booklet and some mini posters. Right now you can get the white standard set for $99 at several retailers. What I wanted to mention most of all is that all 23 of the new single movie Bond BD releases also have the Digital HD, and they're actually fairly cheap. Bull Moose here in Maine has all 23 of them for $7.97, but this week in the stores they're only $6.97. Bargain. |

someone please confirm: the QOS steelbook bluray is the same bluray from 2008, with the trailers in the beginning? And also the new GE bluray have the same bad restoration as the one from 50 boxset?

The only difference that I can find is that on the Amazon black Ultimate set and on the individual titles the HD Digital cloud stuff is included. (Digital HD is also included with the new "actor" sets...Sean Connery, Roger Moore, etc.) The new white standard set looks like the only place you won't get the Digital HD, that's why it's fairly cheap. So if you don't need the Digital HD, there's no real reason for anyone to double (or quadruple) dip. Golden Eye does need a new remaster though. |

I don't know about QoS, but I compared GoldenEye old and new discs directly in MakeMKV and they are exactly the same.

No word on that. Right now it seems to be limited to the Bond films that have S.P.E.C.T.R.E. as the main antagonist group.

To be more accurate, it's limited to Bond films that feature the character of Blofeld in some form or another as Dr. No is not included, but For Your Eyes Only is.

Um. The first nine films in the Bond franchise are from 4k masters, MGM also trusted in Lowry's work enough to use their 4k master of The Terminator that was sitting in a vault for a few years.

One code that covers all the films in the set. It will appear in the name of the collection in your digital library.

Thanks for that - so in other words, the code from the Daniel Craig set won't show up as the 3 individual titles in my library, but as one title called "The Daniel Craig 007 Collection"?

Personally the best deal I found for the Dalton/Lazenby titles was on fox connect and used a new email account to snag the 30% percent off discount.
Works out to $23.08 shipped. |
