Probably the Deluxe Edition for the extras and the new UK release for the uncut copy of the film, I think it has different audio to the Deluxe Editions' (which is only uncut in a few countries, but if you're buying the uncut version as well you can pick up a cheap copy of the Deluxe that is cut)

Just to be clear, I bought the Canadian version of the amazon exclusive (black box) set. It includes the edited US Casino Royale blu-ray disc. The included digital copy (UV copy) is the unedited, original version.

France got an unedited version. The current UK blu-ray that has the 15 rating on the cover is the unedited version as well. It's apparently region-free, and pretty cheap to import. The old UK version with the 12 rating on the cover is the edited version.

Unless you really need the physical disc, the easiest way to see the unedited version today is to find the digital UV copy.

Australia, France, Holland, Japan, Russia, Scandinavia, Taiwan all had uncut releases, I think France and Australia are the best bets for the Deluxe Edition, but like I said you can find a cut copy cheap and buy the uncut version (HMV UK have the new slip designs for £7.99).

I think every country except the US, UK, and Canada got the uncut version, at least in cinemas. As for home video, the uncut version has been released in Australia, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, France, UK (recently) and the Netherlands, and those are just the ones I'm sure about.

Our UK release originally go cuts to the nut cracking scene, but the US releases had minor cuts throughout the film whilst keeping the ball busting intact (if I remember correctly).

The uncut UK release was OOP until it was re-issued recently.

I bought them all. I've never seen the ones before Brosnan. I like the first three Connery ones, but I'm nervous about Moore.

Moonraker and A View To A Kill are the only ones to be a little wary of, but the Moore ones are mostly pretty great too. Glad you liked the first three Connery films, the next three in the series are amazing.

Any UK release of Casino Royale from MGM is rated 15 and is uncut. Any UK release of Casino Royale from Sony is rated 12 and is cut.
