Will Casino Royale be the 2-dis version with all the special features?

Wow. Those covers for the individual films are horrible.

Love this.

And agree. The only classically trained actor to play Bond and the only one who was fluent in Fleming's original novels and whose focus on same gave him unprecedented input on the direction of both his entries, especially LTK.

Connery defined the role and so impressed Fleming that the character in the subsequent novels reflected Connery's influence. There is no beating him in the first three films, but Dalton made his own mark and did it admirably. Craig is nearly as good, but I would rank him just slightly behind Connery and Dalton.

Japan is getting the collection too, but with black cases instead, which fit much better with the set than the blue ones we're getting.

Same for the actor collections too

I thought the actors collections will be digipack or slipcover or something..
Isn't it like this?

By the way, I really had hoped they wouldn't release 2 volumes for Connery and Moore.
They could release a 6 and a 7 pack Bluray.
Why was that hard to do?

Likely slipcovers, but unlikely to be black cases, which is what I'm highlighting.

Those single release covers look great, but none for me.

They seem to get worse and worse with each release. The best was the 1992 30th Anniversary VHS releases because they used the original posters. These don't even look appealing to someone who might be blind buying these. A giant close-up of Timothy Dalton's face? WTF?

Same thing with the Thunderball cover. That shot doesn't remind me of that film. Some of the shots feel pretty arbitrary and mundane.

The steelbooks, on the other hand, look very cool. But I already have every one of these films on Blu-ray individually. I actually have steelbooks for Dr. No, From Russia with Love and Thunderball too.

I kind of doubt I'll pick any of this up, but it has been fun reading about it and seeing all the images so far.

I actually like the new single BOND covers as opposed to the last BLU release covers, they kind of remind me of those old VHS covers (not Bond)

The only thing I don't like is the logo on the image also stating BLU and Digital HD they could put that really small in the white area corner, or at least just omit the BLU / HD and just sticker the plastic wrap.

I snagged all the BOND releases during the period when Best Buy had those standees for all the BONDs for 4.99 a title and they even had original Casino Royale. I liked the individual releases rather than the BOND 50 box set for those releases

The artwork for these, look shit! Rather like the current ones do. A photograph from a part of the movie, slapped on the front. A lot of thought has gone into that.

Pathetic!

The derp expression on Craig's face is pretty bad.

Default James Bond Volume Collections & Ultimate Collection

That's what a James Bond Blu Ray sleeve should look like.
