I think everyone will have a different opinion on what the covers should look like, but I think a lenticular cover with Bond on one angle and the villain on the other would be cool. Or, if these are possible, a lenticular with three images: Bond, Bond girl and villain.

Those are okay, but too much of the cover is taken up with the gunbarrel / silouhette template.

THIS is what a Bond cover should look like. This is a custom created by fellow user DrrnHarr back when the Bond 50 set was coming out.

Yes, the concept behind those two you shared, V40LLY, is good because of the classic-style artwork, but the overall layout is dated and not as classy. An update of the layout could make those work.

The custom cover shared by baheidstu works more simply.

I appreciate all the artwork/covers I'm seeing, but none are a true knockout. I do love those new steelbooks with the title sequence-inspired images. But those aren't the be-all-end-all of James Bond covers either.

Indeed. Bond covers seem the coolest when there is a less-is-more approach. Most covers do, for that matter.
