Olevia BDP-110 Firmware Upgrade - Page 10 - Blu-ray Forum

Hey guys, I also have this Olevia Blu-ray player and recently the remote broke. i've tried setting it up w/ like 3 different universal remotes but i can't get it to work w/ any of them. does anybody know what universal remotes this player works with, if any and what the proper code is? i've tried sending a message to the company thru the olevia.supportsync.com site multiple times but haven't gotten any responses.

I've been using a Logitech Harmony 620 from Target for about two years with no problems.

BTW, Clash of the Titan won't play here either! This thing is constant hassle!

The new Caddy Shack on Blue Ray won't play. And yes It's a Warner Brothers. All the openings, sound and picture play fine. After the movie loads, I only get the sound from the menu, but no picture. This is my first BR where this has happened.

I think it's so sad that there is no more support.

I have loved this player, great sound from my Dennon AVR combo unit and great picture on the Olevie 37" LCD.

If the unit was supported with firmware updates to keep it working, this would be all the BR player I would have ever needed. Two year service life just doesn't cut it for me. I did not buy this unit, my wife did for me as a gift.
And she did not get a deal on it. She paid full price at Target.

I am now thinking about replacing it with an Oppo 93 for $499.00

just bought star wars: the complete sage and it looks like it will not work either!! any ideas...alot of the firemware updates out there are no longer valid
