I'll add one more vote for the "alphabetical" crowd. It may not be the most "original" tactic, but its simple, and it still works. So far, I only have eight Blu-Ray movies, and they're separated from my DVDs, but otherwise everything's A,B,C, etc.

i keep thinking i've answered a thread just like this about 15 times... ahah

anyway, i organize mine in alphabetical order. Numbers before any letter 'A's' (ala 28 Days Later, (500) Days of Summer, 2001: A Space Odyssey and then American Gangster...) and tv shows in with the movies as well (so tv shows are NOT in a separate area / shelf)

I do mine by studio. They look a LOT neater on the shelf that way. Always thought they look like a total mess when they're organized on alphabetical order.

alphabetical, blus separate from dvds, and unwatched separated from watched.

Oh yeah, I also factor that in too, to my already complex organization scheme

Numbers come first (0-9), then alphabetical down to the second or third letter.

Alphabetical, other than the boxed sets.

It goes:

Slipcase
Non-Slip
Boxsets

Each section is in alphabetical order of course.

I finally have enough to use my DVD method. I have them separated by genre. Then alphabetized. All films in a series are grouped together chronologically.

I organize my movies the same way, but I have a separate pair of shelves for tv series.

By studio.

It looks nice. Especially with matching logo's, though if you have a lot of Region A blu's, plus a lot of Region B blu's from quite a few different countries - chances are it won't look good regardless.
