If I considered my Blu's as part of my home decor, I can maybe see the point in organizing them by studio and keeping the ones with slipcovers together and so on. I own quite a few Blu's and for me it would be hard to remember which studio put out Rambo or how long it would take me to realize that my copy of Lost season 3 did not come with a slipcover and is therefore not with my other seasons but rather next to my slipless copy of Legend of Drunken Master in my Disney section.

No, it would go under the letter 'O'.

As of now my VHS are all alphabetical as I do not have too many of them (only 257). My DVDs are sorted in their alphabetical section. All the As, Bs, Cs, etc are together but are not in any order within those sections. The same goes for my Blu-rays. I stared doing this because after it took me 45 minuted to put a title staring with "A" away a month ago I decided alphabetical is over. This new way means I only have to move the last DVD/Blu in each section to put a new title away. Takes about 1 minute now. Much better. Also, each section is separated with a card spacer to mark what letter the section is for.
You can kinda get an idea in this pic... ![]() Last edited by cinema sickness; 08-14-2010 at 05:54 AM. |

This is a question I would love to hear an answer for from you guys. Right now Im organizing my BDs alphabetically, However it is very boring when I buy new BDs (Something that I do very often) so I have to add the BDs, drag them here and there.
Sometimes I feel I should organize them by studio, or by genre but not sure what is the easiest way. How do you do it? |

My collection is only about one-tenth the size of yours, so I organize it alphabetically (with Concert BD's seperated).
In your case, and if it were me I'd do it by genre as I would never remember what title was done by each studio. John |
