Alphabetically with blus and dvds mixed together. I do pull my collector sets and use them as display pieces.

This makes zero sense to me.

I used to do it by size then alphabetically so digibooks didn't look horribly out of place, but now it's all purely alphabetical.

I used to have it ordered from worst to best PQ, but now that my collection has grown I organize them alphabetically.

Well as you can see in my home theater gallery there is no organization at all. Just don't have the proper storage options right now so I can't be bothered. I do sort the Criterion on a ledge by spine number though so I guess there is at least that. And well if you are only going to care about sorting a small part of your collection what better part of it could there be?

It really does not have to now does it ! I just thought I would see how it looked & it looks really good , I am not worried about organization at all. I know what is there & it takes me 2 minutes or less to find or choose a movie to watch

I have taken pics of each shelf. I only did it to my single titles & not my Trilogy's, Give me 10 minutes to downsize the pics & put them up to Photobucket

Alphabetical - doesn't matter what genre, packaging, etc. They are mixed with my DVD collection (which is over 1,000).

Non-fiction Blu-Rays and DVDs (documentaries, music, concerts) have their own respective place.

Region-B Blu-Rays have their own shelf, roughly arranged by genre.

All other Blu-Rays are arranged via genre (sci-fi, action, adventure, martial arts, epics/fantasies, war, westerns, dramas, horror, and comedies). Some of these genres have subgenres and I try to keep similar movies together (like for sci-fi, there are space operas, cyberpunk films, horror and creature thrillers, etc. War movies are chronological based on the era they represent). DVDs are the same way on their own section.

That is all.
