Yeah, I bought it back in 2010 or so and immediately sold it after watching it because of the horrible PQ.

Lol yeah a definite upscale on the level of the DVD. I've long wondered if it could even be released in HD. It's FX may have been done in standard Def given its era.

Yep, yep. Sometimes you can find a good deal with that store. Last year I found a copy of Split Second on DVD for 5 bucks.

More than likely. If so, it would have to go through the same treatment as Star Trek: The Next Generation where they redid SFX at 2K. That's also assuming that The Beast was shot on film. I seriously doubt that will happen with The Beast though.

I believe with CD Japan, if the estimated shipping date is more than two days, then they do not have any stock on hand and will contact their distributor to check for availability. I had recently tried to order Starman through them, later to be told that it was no longer available, upon which the listing was then removed from the site. You may be able to get the film through them, though just be aware that there is a chance it may also be sold out.

I ordered a copy last month, along with Memoirs of an Invisible Man, and it had the same wait time as it does now. Within 3 days I had a shipping notification and it was at my house in 5 days. They may have stock for the moment, but who knows for how long.

The Devil's Rejects (UK) from Momentum seems OOP. All my orders got cancelled and no webstores have any stock left new & sealed.

In France, several Sony titles are OOP:
- Piège en eaux troubles (Striking Distance)
- Bienvenue dans la jungle (Welcome to the jungle)

Also Julia X 3D from FIP in France is OOP.

All the Blu-rays from Aventi in France are also OOP (there were re-releases for some of them but not for all of them unfortunately - same as for the Echo Bridge titles in the US). For example, The Machine, Bounty Killer, Empire State, The Pact, and Q are OOP and a bit expensive now (although some retailers have little stock left that they give away sometimes).

Thanks to the both of you. Found Two Girls and a Guy and Aventi's The Blackout both for decent prices. Always nice to grab things before the prices get to Apt Pupil levels of stupid.

No sense to make a new post, does anyone know if the Mexican release of Miss Bala is still in print? I am not finding it readily on any Mexican e-shops but I know that finding titles in Mexico can be tricky.

Well, the german release is not very good (if it can prevent you from killing yourself)

In fact, this kind of things always happen to me. Everytime I decide to buy a DVD, which I'm not used to since the Blu-ray format exists, there is an annoucement within a month advertising that a Blu-ray is in the works
