The problem is that Never Say Never Again is not canon to the Bond universe.

Shallow Hal appears to be OOP.

Seems to be OOP in the US. Amazon does not have stock and Best Buy, Target and DeepDiscount no longer carry it.

This is the one thread on the forum I dread seeing new posts in it.

For anime fans, it is confirmed that The Girl Who Leapt Through Time is getting reissued fairly soon. So that once very expensive OOP BD should be sold now if one is a scalper.

Thanks, been putting it off. Just got it off eBay for a reasonable price.

The Me, Myself & Irene/Shallow Hal double feature also looks to be OOP:

No, it was re-released by Warner a few months ago.

It may not be "canon" but it's most certainly still a James Bond film made by people who had the rights to make it. And Connery's appearance alone makes it a part of the universe.

And who cares about canon with Bond -- they've recast the part so many times and barely paid any attention to continuity over the decades, what difference does it make? Outside the lack of the "Bond theme" it really is not a big deal.

My Blu-ray set came with a Flixster (Ultraviolet) voucher which plays through Vudu but it is the R-rated version of Jason Goes To Hell. Was there a different code for Vudu itself?

And it was still better than Octopussy or A View To A Kill

To the best of my knowledge, Jason Goes to Hell is only available in Unrated form on the DVD release. The streaming thing with Flixster and VUDUis still the R-Rated version. The Unrated version is so much better, too. That is the only Friday the 13th DVD that remains in my library.

When the set was released the code would redeem an HD print of JGTH in it's unrated form. If it's redeeming as the R rated version now it looks like someone caught wind of the error and has corrected it.

Sure it's the R rated version? The specs on vudu said it was rated R but it was actually the uncut version. I'll check it out later tonight and see what's up.

Just did a quick check of the tent scene from Friday 9 on vudu and it's still unrated even though it says rated R.

I know the tent scene very well. One of the best kills scenes in Friday history, if you ask me.
