Gotcha.

But the steelbook is the only standalone release of Nosferatu (1979) in the UK (although it's still available in the BFI Herzog box set).

I am tracking steelbooks, but not store exclusive steelbooks like with Zavvi.

Is the film 'Hardware' OOP? I had a copy on backorder with Amazon for a couple months, and they just canceled it. The price is going up for secondary sellers, and I'm seeing people on Amazon sell it as OOP but unsure if this is just hype.

Yes it's been out of print for a while now... around 1 year or so.

I'm not terribly bothered that the stateside Hardware blu-ray is OOP.

I think blu-ray discs with lossy audio are, for the most part, lousy and need upgrades above all else.

Big letdown of a movie. Looks like they are having trouble giving them away on amazon (the US version that is, but the 2-disc one as well).

sure, if we lived in a perfect world. Some great films arent even on the format yet. This just wont come back in stock.

I haven't seen it yet (I saw the trailer after revisiting Jackson's earlier films and was astonished by the imagery of the 'in-between' so I went to purchase it via Amazon but laughed at the price) but what is it about The Lovely Bones and What Dreams May Come that create such a scathing response from people? Is it the theme of the afterlife?
