No copies at Amazon, or at any other major retailer, and no listings on ebay. Not only does it look OOP.... it looks like it never existed!

Yeah, I did see that, but I was surprised by how few sites have it available. Not sure if it's just temporarily out of stock or actually out of print. (Someone found a cheap copy at a 7-11 recently.)

I tend to think this is one of those situations where OOP (out of print) and OOS (out of stock) have confusingly blurred.

It's been OOS at Amazon for so long that I started to think it might be OOP, and some retailers might simply have old stock.

However, GRUV still stocks it, and that's direct from Universal.

Who knows. I think the pandemic has also thrown a lot of restocking out of whack.

The Spanish Prisoner BD definitely exists. I was following it on Amazon for about six months when I noticed it started getting scarce. I was planning to buy it at some point but it slipped my mind and then all traces of the release vanished.

A possible future Criterion release, as it's considered one of Mamet's better films. Hope so, because I don't have the BD, just the DVD.

Yeah, if it was OOP, it would be listed as "Out of print" on their site.

I actually was just joking as I own the blu-ray and have it listed here in my collection. It's interesting as the artwork is different than the stock images that all the sites use (including this).

I was unaware it was released.
Thanks to your heads up, I was able to track down a new & sealed copy from a french retailer (which carries import discs from time to time) yesterday. I was lucky for a change.

Damn, I was waiting on a decent price on "Spanish Prisoner". Kept hoping I could snag it in the $12-$15 range. It was definitely "available" for the last year.

About three weeks ago I saw multiple copies of this at CVS from Movies U Buy.

It appears Cowgirls 'N Angels is OOP. The main list on page 1 shows the sequel Cowgirls 'N Angels 2: Dakota's Summer is already OOP, but not mention of the original film. Seems to be out of stock almost everywhere with higher prices on Amazon.

It could be OOP but what is up with the crazy list price for the Blu-ray? It's at Criterion level prices. The UHD on Amazon isn't available directly from them and it's going for $50.

I fortunately have the UHD for Logan Lucky, got it for $9.99 from Best Buy at a Black Friday sale.

If this is OOP and not OOS that's definitely a huge shocker that Universal put it OOP.
