I wonder how much Sony over-estimated demand for Easy Rider? Not long ago, a whole bunch of them showed up at Dollar General for $6. Now, Walmart is stocking them for $14.96. The shrinkwrap tends to be gnarly and worn, which means that this is old stock that has been sitting in a warehouse for years.

I think I have seen a new version of Dreamgirls 2-disc. The colors used for the artwork don't have as much "pop" as what Paramount used. Warner did the same with World Trade Center when they got the rights to it.
Btw, you mentioning the Ultimate Missions Collection reminded me that the 2-disc version of MI3 is OOP as well. |

Here's one from Paramount:
![]() BTW: I don't understand the Sony listings at all. Blue Thunder, Vacancy, Stealth, Identity, S.W.A.T., The Replacement Killers, Flatliners, Last Action Hero etc. all link to Amazon with large stocks of new available items. They are fulfillment orders, but still... Did I miss the discussion of these titles? What makes them OOP? Sorry to be a bother... |

OOS means Out of Stock (no more inventory left) They are related but different concepts. A movie can be OOP but take forever to become OOS if it's a slow seller. On the other hand, a movie can be OOS if it's in heavy demand, but that doesn't make it OOP. |

I see...
So there is stock left of these at Amazon partner sites, sold as new by Amazon, but they are confirmed as no longer being manufactured. Well then. I got a couple of these on my wishlist that I better act fast on. I guess that's the thread really doing its job. Thanks jscoggins and HD Goofnut! |

Since I'm watching it on Encore right now I figured I would check, it seems like Rising Sun is no longer available new through Amazon or Best Buy, so I would say its OOP as well.
