I think the bolded part is extreme, but I agree with him about the character. It doesn't undermine the movie for me, but it does test the boundaries a bit.
It's an action film.

Yes, Paul Gleason's character is grossly incompetent, but its not as unrealistic as people want to believe. Look at what happened in Waco Texas in 1993. Our law enforcement and FBI can **** up really bad.

Still kicking myself for not buying Willow at Walmart for $14.

As an older movie, I thought it would wind up in the $7.88 bin.

Yea, that never happened...

No, it was another strange instance of a popular catalog title going OOP relatively quickly.

I believe it happened around the time Disney acquired Lucasfilm, a re-release seems likely at some point, but Disney will probably be involved with future releases for Willow.

Well, we have the 30th anniversary coming up next year so I would expect it then.

My thoughts on the movies you trashed:

A.I.: Great but flawed.

Cloud Atlas: A misunderstood masterpiece IMO, but I can easily see why others hate it.

New Nightmare: I'm with you on this one. One of the most overrated movies of all time, whose praise I will never, ever understand.

Edit: Someone else mentioned Die Hard. One of the few reviews Ebert was flat out "wrong" about IMO and couldn't justify. Usually, even when I disagreed with him, I could understand where he was coming from. But I have no idea what he was thinking when he gave Die Hard a "thumbs down."
I think you've misunderstood my post. I love all those films.

It looks like the Diamond Edition of Sleeping Beauty might be OOP. It is fetching decent $ on eBay. I have an unopened copy and I am going to try my luck.

$399 seems like a fair price for the first Captain America film.

Anyone know if the Mill Creek blu of

Donnie Brasco (theatrical cut) is out of print?

Amazon only has it through 3rd party sellers.

Yeah, I misinterpreted "lifetime pass" to mean that you were passing on him for life.

A.I. is good and Cloud Atlas is great, but I'll never understand the love for the gimmicky and unsatisfying New Nightmare.

I'm with you, BargainHunta. I always found New Nightmare to be rather overrated.

It is a better first go at the themes Craven would explore in the Scream series (of which I like the fourth and last entry the most), but that's really it.

It also doesn't help it has the worst Freddy Krueger design in the entire series (Yeah, worse than Old Man Freddy in "Freddy's Dead" and Jackie Earle Haley's "We aimed for realism but were too scared to actually make it truly realistic" makeup in the 2010 remake).
