Maniac Cop 2 and 3 are now on backorder at bestbuy.com. Part 3 is OOS at Bullmoose and Part 2 is low in stock.

Damn it... I snoozed, and now I losed as well. I picked up the original a few months back but just never had the drive to jump on the sequels with everything else that was being released. Weak.

BU's site doesn't indicate that the MC sequels are "OOP", but who knows? Lustig may be prepping Blu-only reissues and dropping the DVD disc as he did with VENOM.

I have the 2nd one, but I put off getting the first and 3rd because I don't like them as much. I went ahead and bought the original just in case it goes OOP.

That might be the case since the original isn't a blu ray/DVD combo and it still is in stock everywhere. Still, I went ahead and picked up the original just in case because you never know.

The original is a Synapse release so that would be at least part of the reason why that one wouldn't be affected by the sequels going out of print.

I have Maniac Cop 2 & 3 on DVD but it's my fault for waiting so long to grab the BDs. Hopefully they come back in print at some point.

You might want to grab it now to be safe, it's possible that somebody just found some remaining stock somewhere, there's no new release date listed or anything.

Update on There Will Be Blood. It is nowhere to be found at Wal-mart.com and bestbuy.com for purchase. Bullmoose still has it, but only previewed. It doesn't seem to be at deepdiscount either.

Amazon seems to be selling it, but that is perhaps until they run out of stock.
