It was mentioned that the original 3 disc release with the cd soundtrack was going OOP and is being replaced with a 2 disc release without the cd. If you want a copy, Diabolikdvd still has a few copies of the 3 disc release for $25.99.

Walmart.com also still has it for $27.05 with free shipping so probably cheaper for some people depending on your sales tax since Diabolik charges $5 for shipping.

I own this one. Maybe someone could reissue it with the classic poster artwork.

Would love to hear some behind the scenes stories on the making of the film. I belive Penny Marshall was the 3rd and final director of the movie.

Always loved the awesome cast of commedians featured in the film.

Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but it seems Criterion's BD/DVD release of "Scanners" is OOP, but I noticed there is a BD only version coming out on March 27th.

I believe all the Criterion BD/DVD combos are OOP, they've been making new BD-only versions as they run out of stock on the combos.

I replaced TESS and FOREIGN CORRESPONDENT with BD-only versions a while back.

I don't know if it's worth including these though, since the titles aren't actually OOP on BD, just those combo editions.

Looks like Trading Places is OOP, It's starting to command some higher prices on Amazon and it's hard to find anywhere.

Yeah, this was part of the Paramount/Warner deal. Anyone know if these are being renewed?

I don't think that they were because Paramount has a bunch of steelbooks coming out in a week or two. I know that Death Wish is getting a steelbook, not sure on the others, but they are being rereleased by Paramount.
