Forum member Stanis mentioned in the thread for Volume 1 that Volume 2 of the Spike Lee Joint Collection seems to be out of print.

https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...238635&page=12
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-S...Blu-ray/99475/

That certainly seems to be the case. It's nice that they put out four movies with new commentary tracks, but they could have let it go to three or five volumes, and it's a shame they just kind of gave up at two.

edit: I'll bet I could have written this all out more clearly, what with all the numbers scattered throughout my text. I hope this wasn't too confusing.

Thanks just ordered Jack Frost before it disappears for good. There's still a few left on Amazon.ca. Blind buy but I've been wanting to see it for a long time.

Are you sure it's the limited edition with lenticular cover? I didn't think Amazon ever sold them. Just the standard edition.

Not sure but doesn't matter as long as I have the movie.

This release went out of print almost as soon as it was released. The strangest thing I have ever seen regarding a major release. I have no idea what happened or why. Held off on a pre-order, figuring it would be widely available. It never was. I guess the UK release is all there except the packaging does not match the "Lord of the Rings" extended box set (a shame ) and no digital copy for US purchasers. He who hesitates .....

Might want to add the US/Canada version of Doctor Who: The Complete Specials. Both Amazon US and CA have sold out with no new copies coming through. BBC Shop hasn't sold it in a while either.

I can confirm the Gravity Diamond Luxe Edition is either back in print, or Amazon found some that fell off a truck. Either way, it's back in stock there. My copy arrived this morning!

Is Magic Mike OOP? There are no new copies available of either BD version through Amazon, except through third-party sellers:

Standard edition:
https://www.amazon.com/Magic-Mike-Blu-ray/dp/B008XCPO2Q

Deluxe edition:
https://www.amazon.com/Magic-Mike-Bl...dp/B008WCP2KG/

Could it be possible that Contagion is also OOP? I was randomly looking at Soderbergh BDs on Amazon and noticed these two titles.

Both editions of Contagion are also only available through third-party sellers.

Standard:

Deluxe:

I'm pretty sure I spotted this at Big Lots, so if it is indeed OOP, try looking there. Can't remember which version, but probably the standard. YMMV though.

Thanks! Luckily I already have all of Soderbergh's films that are available on BD, including the deluxe versions of each of these. I was just randomly checking to see if anything new had popped up, and noticed these two titles both appear to have gone OOP.

A two second search on Best Buy's website revealed that both are still readily available.

This thread needs a giant notice that says, "Out of stock at Amazon? Check other retailers before posting!"

Also, "out of stock" does not necessarily implies "out of print".

I did the same search on Best Buy before posting here, but the fact that two Warners Soderbergh titles are both unavailable in two incarnations each at Amazon is different from a single title being sold out, yet available elsewhere.

Also, Best Buy only lists the standard edition of Contagion and the deluxe edition of Magic Mike listed. At the very least the other editions of those titles are likely OOP.

And I still think it's possible Amazon ran out first because they sell more old catalog titles like this, I'll bet all 4 are OOP and Best Buy just hasn't quite run out of those two editions yet.

True, but out of stock on two different editions of each title, with none of the 4 having a "More coming soon" note, definitely does suggest OOP. It doesn't prove anything, but definitely suggests it.

I also just checked wbshop.com.

Contagion is completely unavailable there.

Magic Mike is only available in the deluxe edition, and that could just be remaining stock they're getting rid of.

The Australian Touchstone Pictures release of Splash (1984) seems to be OOP. I just received my copy from eBay today. The seller had a few other copies, but now seems to be out of them. If anyone is interested, this seems about the only place left to acquire it, and they are going fast. Being a Disney property, I'm skeptical about a U.S. release any time soon. I am unsure as to whether the Mexican or Brazilian releases are still in print.

Australia got a number of Disney titles nobody else did, for some odd reason. They also got Quiz Show, which I imported.
