Amazon has the 3-disc triple feature edition with Red Planet, 2010: The Year We Make and Contact for $20 still. The single disc edition looks OOP, but you can still buy it on Amazon with the two other movies included for now that could be OOP as well.

I hope Warner does a UHD for Contact.

It's a third-party seller though, just shipped by Amazon. Still seems to be OOP.

Hard to tell for sure yet. We should know for sure in the coming weeks.

It's available to order from Best Buy. Not sure why people think it's OOP just based on Amazon.

I thought it was OOP based on it being no longer available at wbshop, but it's actually back there now, so maybe they just ran out and had to press new ones.

I like Grease but it's a film that sits outside of my normal movie wheelhouse and so I am not all that concerned about the best possible presentation, rather just a good presentation as its not a film I will revisit but once every few years. As I mentioned before... I'd really just like to own a copy of Grease 2.
fair enough (although the audio changes are not about higher fidelity so much as just not adding in all sorts of weird back tracks and changing the vocals and so on, the new disc is how it sounded in the theaters, the old blu-ray uses altered vocals, all sorts of new backing tracks, weird added sounds, mutes some parts, etc. but since you don't really care about the film anyway, maybe it doesn't matter)

Good, it makes zero sense to put a film like Contact OOP there is always going to be a market for it as is the case with most popular science fiction movies.

Looks like the Labyrinth digibook blu-ray is OOP.

Been out of stock at Best Buy for a few months now and Amazon doesn't sell it either.

It's too bad Sony didn't do the same for the 4K editions. Same with Dark Crystal.

Unfortunately titles going OOP often has little to do with what makes sense based on demand, it's more based on shifting ownership/rights situations and other issues that we, as consumers, may not be privy to.

I take it Night of Dark Shadows and House of Dark Shadows (Warner) are OOP?

I was looking into finally getting them and they don't seem available anywhere. Hopefully Scream or somebody will licensed them and do better versions, but for now the Warners seem pretty unattainable.

I got that copy of "The Road" today. It was supposed to be the region B release. Somehow I got the more expensive stateside release. It was in a Blockbuster dvd case with the blu art wrapped around it. Had an extra blu case, and voila!

I've been around the block long enough to understand the ownership/rights side of it all and labels putting discs OOP. Now whats not understood is the private behind the scenes decisions as you mentioned. As well as labels making a decision to put a disc OOP based on sales, demand or lack of interest in pressing more copies. Labels can make strange decisions at times, it's their property and can do with it as they please. Thanks for the heads up though.

Yes, those have both been OOP for a while now... even the Warner import versions are OOP.

I got lucky and picked up both of these at a used store for $10 each last week Needless to say I was a happy camper.

I guess I really lucked out finding this randomly on BF at Walmart a few years ago.

Hell, I'd sell or trade the digibook (sans disc) to anyone who wanted it, because I hate those things. I got it for only five bucks during a Save Station BOGO maybe two or three years back.

Uhhhhh did What We Do in the Shadows blu-ray suddenly go OOP???? I'm really kicking myself because it went down to $9.99 for a hot minute there and I debated buying it. Now there are few listings left anywhere and jacked up prices
