I have a feeling the Blu-ray is hard to find because of the (excellent) series. People who watched the show are now buying the Blu-ray. FX also showed the film recently, so I bet a lot of people saw it for the first time, loved it, and bought it. Give it time; it'll be easy to find at a low price soon.

Yes it appears to be out of print. Cheapest Region one compatible one I could find it a Canadian release for $20. Any differences between the USA and Canadian release?

See above; I'd bet my husband's sweet ass it's not OOP. BTW the Canadian disc doesn't have the very funny commentary.

That's me (well, up to the "bought it"). Even worse. When the movie showed up on FX, I DVR'd it, but took a while to watch it. In the meantime, I found a BD of it in a local Bullmoose. I had enough other things I was getting, that I passed on it, figuring that I'd watch the recording to see if I liked it first. Loved it. The next time I was at that Bullmoose, it was gone.

That's not really how it works. That may cause a shortage, but certainly not for Amazon to no longer have people selling it and sites like Best Buy and Walmart marking it as sold out. And it's out of print. I called my local Zia to see if any of their stores had a used copy and it's officially marked as out of print. Whether it's temporary or likely to be lasting remains to be seen, but this isn't one of those situations where stock is adjusting to demand. I'm wondering if a re-release is coming from a company like Shout Factory and that's why it went OOP or what. Just frustrated because it was a mere $9.99 and I wish I bought it then

What We Do in the Shadows is OOP. DVD is, too. I had a local record store try to order it for weeks with zero luck on either fornat. The FX show came out after this, just to mention.

Maybe, I always didn't like them though because if the art gets damaged you cant print a new label, etc. Of course, that's probably also why they will be worth money if you have one that's mint.

Film Movement's Moebius (2013) release is out of print. Good luck finding it.

I was curious of this as well. Been checking ebay for any new listings of this & found a "like new" one yesterday shortly after it was listed & I snatched it up for $21.80 shipped. It's going for between $100-$200 on amazon & looks like it's actually available to order on B&N's website for $38.34.

Not available = out of stock, back-ordered. Harakiri has been like this for a bit so it is odd but it is most certainly not OOP. Plus, the DVDs are still in print so they'll be back eventually.

Any Criterion title that is OOP simply says "OUT OF PRINT".
