Not sure what links you require, Coraline had 9 releases according to this site. The Boxtrolls and Paranorman 6 and Kubo and the Two Strings 5.

It seems like most of these "new" editions are always temporary and they go out of print in favour of the first edition still being printed - at least that's what I got looking at all the reissues of some animated films like Robots.

I guess I meant shipping and taxes. $13 movie ended up costing $18 and change.

I didn't have a problem got it on release day and my copy wasn't making noise. Blu-ray's don't scratch very easily so you should have been good even with the floater copy. Glad I bought it now that it's OOP.

Better than paying $120 + 3.99 shipping for a very rare, OOP bare bones BD that was the only release in a specific region. I very nearly dropped that much on Olive's Ticks Blu until someone lent me their copy to borrow (of course, I promptly sent it back to them in the same condition it was sent it in).

LOL I feel your pain on sales taxes. Our 2 cities have the highest sales tax rates in the nation.

Yeah, I stopped trusting Oldies with their listings awhile ago since anytime something goes OOP, I've ordered from them only to have it be cancelled a week or two later. I believe they just list whatever they think they can still get from a distributor. Of course, I don't remember them listing how many they have available in that situation so you may be lucky.

we will see, I actually had good luck with them a month or two ago, it was a MOD TV DVD set and they said will ship in a week or two, which seemed worrisome since it was OOP and MOD, but they set did end up arriving although I think it took more like three weeks to ship but whatever

That's great, I just personally have never had any luck with them when it's an OOP item and they show they have 'inventory'. They are a legit business 100% otherwise, so I don't mean to slam them. Same goes for MovieMars even moreso. A legit business, but if it's an OOP item, I know I will NEVER get it from MM. But some of us may get lucky with them, so why not take a chance?

I certainly wouldn't, but then again I would refrain from living in CA if at all in the first place. Spent some time out there and was not impressed considering the ultra high cost of everything.
