This is where the confusing difference between OOP and OOS comes into play again.

These titles sold the vast majority of copies they were going to sell when they came out. At this point, any sales remaining are certainly a trickle.

They may be OOP in that no more copies are being pressed, but they may not be OOS yet everywhere, simply because demand is so low. Some retailers may have a single box left of a certain title on a certain format, which might last for weeks or months.

A Hidden Life also seems to have vanished most everywhere on DVD and BD. It never got a UHD.

With Foxney titles, I tend to take Amazon running out and not restocking for months as a decent sign that the well may have run dry, they've tended to be the canary in the coalmine with Foxney stuff.

Disney advertised that they’re being added to the DMC, I doubt they would have done that just to sell leftover stock and not make it part of their catalog. Not all titles where part of it though but Jojo and Ford definitely were. Perhaps they’ll eventually become “exclusives” as a way of keeping them alive but depriving other retailers.

FYI - Amazon is currently running a fire sale of Jojo Rabbit BDs for $8.99, presumably burning off stock, as they've done with the other Foxney titles.

I loathed the film, so I won't be buying it, but for anyone who enjoyed it, this could be the last chance to easily snap up a BD.

I bought this in store today at Best Buy. A lot of locations in my area still have it in stock. All copies had slips. They had the standard Blu-ray right next to it for $8.99.

more likely never sent, Amazon-uk and m-p sellers are good at that. Things frequently get to the point of being handed to the courier then a mysterios problem occurs

A film I've been meaning to revisit. It's another Universal title so I'm not worried about it being OOP, likely just in between pressings similar to what recently happened with Bowfinger and Mystery Men.

I highly doubt Jojo Rabbit is going OOP in any format, since Taika Waititi is still pretty highly regarded in Disney's ranks.

Stand alone release of "Vacancy" from 2007. Terrific little B-movie, suprised Scream Factory hasn't picked it up.

Boss is only showing on Amazon from MovieMars (but it could be hiding others as I'm in the UK), but VCI still has it. Do we think this could be gone?

Looks like The King and I might be another OOP Fox too. Same with The Brothers McMullen

Suspiria was shot in the same year as Call Me By Your Name (October 2016-March 2017; May-June 2016), but released a year afterwards.

Ben Wheatley made a whole other film (In the Earth) before Rebecca came out.

I've seen people claim the film can't be criticised for the way the film depicts Nazis because Waititi is Jewish? Which sure adds contexts but doesn't mean it's above criticism

Broad question but are there any notable SPC titles that are region free but OOP? I know a lot of the Region A Almodóvars are gone.

I think, in those cases, the first film was finished though, and just got held back. It's interesting, to me, that in the cases of Trance and Nomadland, they were edited a year after they were filmed. Chloe Zhao specifically said that doing her Marvel movie between shooting Nomadland and editing it gave her a lot more confidence when it came time to pace the film. She said she allowed things to linger in a way she wouldn't have before doing the Marvel movie.

Hmm, can't say I agree with that reasoning. I know some people loved the film. I absolutely detested it. I could go into why, but that might be best saved for a DM between us, I don't want to divert this thread into an argument about one film between me and the fans who will show up.

Malick shot three films pretty much back to back - To the Wonder, Knight of Cups, Song to Song - and I wonder how they transformed in the editing after the other films in the sequence were finished.

A DM would be great!

Going through my amazon.com wishlist, looks like Laurence Anyways is OOP too. There's a few new copies left for $30 a used copy for $10, but Wal-Mart are selling it for $50, and Breaking Glass' webstore only has the DVD and the Blu-ray page deleted.

There is a Canadian Blu-ray for cheaper, with the deleted scenes (and a French language commentary with no subtitles - Mommy was similar), but the US release is region free according to the database and features a feature length MOMA interview with Dolan.
