I ordered a copy just before the start of the sale and it just shipped today.

You'll be fine. When Species 2 went OOP I ordered a copy pretty much the same day it went to total OOP status on Shout's site. Didn't get a shipping note for a few days, but did and the disc got here. On the other hand, Phantom of the Opera (89) was on that list at around the same time. I had one sitting in my cart and by the time I added something else, it sold out and disappeared from my cart. So if you got an order in, you'll get what you ordered. Sucks Phantom came back right after I went to ebay and over paid for it, but looking at Species 2 softens that blow.

Caged Fury I just happened to see in a local used store one day and couldn't resist seeing Kascha trying to act for real. Even funnier, that G-string she wears in the movie looks like the same one she wore in pretty much every porn movie I ever saw her in, which is probably all of them. I used to trade VHS dubs of porn with a friend who was obsessed with her, so I saw most of her work. I also got the feeling this was filmed side by side or right before/after one of those pornos.

Volume 2 looks to be OOP. Volume 1 will likely follow given that these were released way back in 2013.

Crap, I don't know when it happened but looks like Star Trek The Next Generation complete series BD is out of print.

Doubt they'll keep the series OOP. It's the most popular series of a tentpole television franchise. A 4K upgrade would be more likely (not saying it's likely, just more likely).

I'm not sure, but the series, at least intitailly sold really poorly for CBS (season 7 barely got past 3,000 units sold) sales were very underwhelming, and CBS/Paramount was not happy.

Which is maybe why they repackaged all the seasons as a complete set. The complete series was in print for nearly 7 years still being offered (very cheap) in December of last year.

EDIT: Can't even find the doggone thing on E-Bay!

Star Trek TOS Blu Ray is also out of print, but still fairly reasonable through second hand sellers.

You don’t check the discs when you first buy something? That’s the first thing I do, doesn’t matter if it’s used or new. Hopefully you can find a cheap set to replace it with.

The disc functioned perfectly the last time I played it in 2019. Just ticks me off. Yes, I can watch it on Netflix, but that's not the point.

I think it's just this particular release that's OOP. They might re-release it in packaging Paramount/CBS loves to use now.
