Kind of wish I had grabbed it as this movie is a lot of fun IMO, but wasn't paying the $25 or so it cost when in print since I have the dvd already and it was BD-R.
I would also guess it has a print run of maybe 100.
Real Genius was a MOD BD-R and probably the most well known. Once the UHD is released it will pretty much lose all it's value. Just glad the studios for now quit doing MOD BD-R it was just cheap. I would rather wait 2 or 3 weeks for a MOD pressed copy like what they are doing now.

You don't have to wait for release day, it lost all of its value when the 4K was announced.

True. Some are still selling on eBay though for more than what the UHD/BD will cost. The prices have nosedived for sure.

There are copies of the Canadian version on Amazon from a third-party seller, but the US disc appears to be long gone.

Also, NIAGARA is misspelled in the list on p1. It's mistakenly spelled Niagra. This will make it difficult for people to find it in the search engine.

This is under Fox in the main list, it should be under Lionsgate.

Suspecting similarly for The Verdict/Le Verdict (1982).

Which can be a good thing if the 4K UHD BD is botched. Surprising, the people still blind-buying.

These are the Fox BDs in my collection that appear OOP. They're all no longer stocked new directly by Amazon, and most other retailers don't seem to have them either. If one random retailer still has copies, it's most likely because they simply never sold out their old stock. Some were produced in massive quantities, so there may be relatively cheap used copies available, but they're still most likely OOP.

Before anyone starts complaining that a certain title here is still available at Best Buy, etc, be aware that I'm posting this as a service to anyone else looking for Fox titles that are drying up. Amazon is the first place titles usually vanish. If they're not restocking these, it's because they can't. If Best Buy has a few copies of a random deep catalog title still on hand, that doesn't mean it's still in print, just that nobody is buying the last few copies in a warehouse somewhere. I left off a bunch of titles that have tons of copies used and new from third-party sellers for under $10.

In case anyone is interested and was unaware like me - I just learned last month or so that there's a French release of Jumpin" Jack Flash. I had almost bought the domestic release a few years ago and when I when to get it, it was OOP and prices were (and are) ridiculous.

I paid like $15 (with shipping) and it's region free.

I think there are quite a few Fox titles missing from the list. Here are some I'm pretty sure are OOP -

I'm sure there are others, and maybe some of the ones I listed are still in print, but they look scarce. Btw - there is a listing for The Day the Earth Stood Still - but it's not the '51 edition, which appears gone.

Where can we find a comprehensive list of all the Fox titles Disney now controls? Anyone know? Obviously, I can, and have, gone thru all titles released by Fox. But there are a lot more that were released by Shout Factory, Twilight Time, Kino Lorber, Anchor Bay, Olive, etc. It is hard to track them down since this sites DB sorts them under the releasing label.

The reason I ask is pretty obvious. All Fox/Disney titles are highly unlikely to ever be released to home video ever again.

The best bet is probably Wikipedia lists of titles that were originally theatrically distributed by Fox, but even there, it won't be entirely what you're looking for, because many films that were released by Fox when they originally came out in theaters are no longer controlled by Fox/Disney.

I used these lists, and the list here in the database of BDs distributed by Fox, when I was buying up Fox titles in early 2020.

Yeah I think I remember you posting info on Fox, so thanks for the refresher. Sad thing is that there are a lot of fox titles that I passed on a few years ago, that I now want. Example is Sleeping with the Enemy, which I just found a cheap copy.

I need one last thorough search through their catalog as it's now or never basically.

More OOP Fox titles:

Again, I'm leaving off any titles where there are tons of copies available from third-party sellers under $10.

Great resource, It's just too bad it's only updated through the November, 2014 releases. A lot has come out from then until a couple years ago. Thanks though, I had never found that thread.
