You might want to learn reading comprehension, and actually make some meaningful contributions to this thread before telling contributing posters what to do.
You said “It's almost pointless to keep adding titles to the list.” I disagree and I get a lot of value out of it.

Well then I'm sure you will get a lot of value off the Kino List with the link that I provided. It has over 350 OOP Kino titles not mentioned here.

Have at it

I disagree as well. This may not be a definitive list of every OOP disc, but it's a great place to learn when individual titles go OOP in new postings.

This is one of the most informative and interesting threads on this forum. I'm fascinated to learn which films go OOP and why.

I've seen it go for about 400 on Amazon. I haven't seen it since the second grade or so, so this better be one of the greatest movies ever made to be that expensive.

28 Days Later is not only OOP on BD, it's gone from streaming too. I guess Foxney must have lost the rights. Must have been a 20-year license that ended in 2022.

Used copies start at $30, and nobody has new copies at all.

My copy is still sealed from the BB upgrade & save days. That's the state of my backlog.

It it really a loss though? The definition of the movie is terrible straight from the source.

First BD I ever bought lol.
If it had more to offer, it might become very valuable. As is, the dvd looks almost exactly the same except that last sequence that was shot on film. The rest was shot on SD video. I was so pissed at myself back then for picking this as my first BD.
I would imagine 28 Weeks Later must also be on it's way out?

Cue the "I'll just wait for the inevitable 4K release" crowd.

I doubt it will stay OOP for long, esp. if rumors of 28 Years Later happening are true.

I believe that is intentional, and yes, it is a loss for those that want it. It's a good movie.

Good thing it's widely available at thrift stores and on DVD.

A) The final portion is on 35mm film, so it benefits greatly from HD

B) The movie is entirely out of print on disc and unavailable digitally in the US. It's a modern masterpiece, so yes, that's a huge loss.

The DVD is OOP too. There are just plentiful cheap copies of it, unlike the BD.

I mean, it's been in "print" for 20 and 17 years respectively. That's a long time considering DVD was still fairly new to most people in 2003. Probably hasn't been pressed since 2017 I bet and rest has been warehouse stock much like French Connection.

Deep Rising (1998)
Fuzz (1972)
Journey to the Seventh Planet (1962)
Rush (1991)
X: The Man with the X-Ray Eyes (1963)

Probably gone now.

Yep, I agree, I don't think they pressed any new 28 Days Later BDs recently, but the title vanishing entirely is fairly recent. A friend of mine bought it on iTunes within the last year or two, so it was still available then.
