I thought people have indicated that Amazon itself not listing a title is not sufficient enough confirmation for a title to be considered OOP? I guess I'm not understanding the criteria that goes into the classification. I thought it had to be confirmed by being OOS at more than one venue?

Living Dead at Manchester Morgue is available at DVD Planet as well, which is where I just got mine for $8.96. I thought I would post as they seem to be having quite a sale on Blue Underground titles (most are 50 to 60 percent off) including Two Evil Eyes for $9.13 (which IS listed as OOP on Blue Underground's site, while Living Dead is not).

Does anyone know why some the BD double features of the Friday the 13th movies are OOP but not all of them? Part 3 and 4 and part 7 and 8 are garnering big bucks while part 5 and 6 you can get for $10. I have 1 and 2 and was going to get the rest but I can only afford 5 and 6 now. Will it soon go OOP like the others?

Seems like those cross-licensed sets seem to stick around longer. When Memento was OOP/hard to find you could still readily get the Christopher Nolan collection set with Memento in it.

So the Ultimate Gangster Collection is OOP, but all the movies are still available? So unless you love the packaging, there's no immediacy to pick it up now, correct?
Call me crazy, but I kind of prefer the single disc releases as they include the original theatrical poster art work. I was disappointed to see they weren't included in the booklet in the collection. Last edited by spawningblue; 03-17-2016 at 08:56 PM. |

I finally got around to ordering Friday the 13th V/VI while it's still in print. It just seems like it could go out of print overnight and shoot up to $40 or more online and so I didn't want to wait any longer on it. Still thankful that I found the other double feature sets from this franchise at FYE a few months ago for 'non-oop' prices.

Honestly, I hope we get a much better Friday the 13th blu-ray set in the next year or so.
The currently OOP set and double feature bundles just didn't really suit my fancy to be honest, especially with its utter lack of the uncut version of Jason Goes to Hell, a movie I rather enjoy. |
