I have the double feature with The Running Man and it is OOP. My guess would be that it's because of Red Heat.

But Lions Gate Running Man is long out of print, now Olive has the title (in the US at least).

Red Heat is one I can't figure out. I heard it was OOP long ago, but then started seeing them in cheap bins. Now it's been a while since seeing one....
Would make sense to be OOP since most LG titles from around that time are now gone or with other studios.

thanks for the info. Seems like no concrete proof but I picked one up just to be safe. I guess it can't be added to the list yet but wanted to make sure that anyone who might be interested still had time to grab one before it was gone.

Just a heads up but you can still order some of the Lionsgate titles that are listed as OOP in this thread at the Lionsgate store. Red Heat appears to be available and last month I bought Strictly Ballroom and Chaplin. At the time I placed the order I noticed some other apparently OOP titles are still available there.

Good move. I see quite a few copies online in the $8-9 shipped range. I was stubborn and dragged my feet on several titles such as Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls and now can't find a copy for <$10. So if you see any warning signs that a title may possibly be easing out of stores, it's not a bad idea to just go ahead and secure it now before it's a headache later.

Thank you. The way my bluray collection is organized would make some people confused. I have a section for my favorite director's bluray filmographies: Kubrick, Hitchcock, Scorsese, Tarantino, Spielberg, Fincher, etc.. The only actor that has his own section on this shelf is Schwarzenegger. Sometimes I'm just in the mood for a Schwarzenegger movie. I need to add this one to my collection pronto.

Not 100% sure, but this Kino-Redemption Blu appears to be OOP. Backordered pretty much everywhere, and it's no longer showing at all on Kino's own website (all other Redemption titles are still showing there). I suspect it's a goner. I can't think of any other Kino Redemption title that was discontinued, and even though this isn't the greatest Italian thriller, it's decent enough. Plus, if you collect spine numbers, it's #31.

Sorry, didn't know where else to post this. Does anyone know if there's a thread that lists movies and shows that were on VHS, but were never released on DVD - yet were then released on BD (in other words skipping the DVD format)?

I received an email from 88 Films saying they were both back in stock again from now on.
Same goes with Boogeyman. And many others that were not in stock on Amazon.co.uk anymore.

Can someone find out some more information on the "Trailer War" Blu from Drafthouse? Had it in my wish list on Amazon.com & it went from 15 bucks to 50+ dollars overnight. Scalpers, or going out of print? Either way, I won't pay that much for a trailer compilation.

edit: I see it on the Drafthouse website. The blu is going for 10 bucks. Wonder if that will last?

Drafthouse sells their films at a very reasonable rate all the time. They just have a pretty hefty shipping charge which makes them average out to a normal and fair price. They also offer some pretty neat packages if you're into that sort of thing (although some tend to sell out quickly). But I've noticed even when things are priced high on Amazon, I've had to problem getting them through Drafthouse still.
