Well I'm done here. Every time I try to voice an opinion that is not wholly supportive of Sony I got attacked. I've deleted all my posts and won't be here again.

All I will leave with is that since Sony is "rebuilding their network" I hope it's up by May 10th when Brink comes out. Otherwise I'm buying a 360 and Brink for that system. It's not an easy choice, but I want to play the games that interest me and most of them require a network.

No matter where you go, networks go down eventually one way or the other, fact of life. XBOX has already had class action lawsuits about their outages.

I'm Iced Earth-ed out for right now. I had the chance to meet Matt Barlow (Ex-Singer) last night at the Volbeat show near me and I said "I'll work instead." Of course, Barlow pops up to hang out with the band. Oh well, but yeah...

I see the PSN issue like this: I understand if you are angry if A. You can't access content you paid/paying for (PS+, Qriocity, PSN games) or B. Can't access Netflix or VUDU (I have a credit to use dammit) and C. You bought a game that is a heavy/geared network game (SOCOM being a new release is a sore spot). But the major problem I have with all of this is that we have not been given a timetable for when we will get it back (One or two days DOES NOT COUNT). If people at least had a time frame for when they would get it back they would (Probably) lay off a bit. Other than that, it circles back to... well.... there ARE plenty of other things to do other than sit and complain about the network. Clean, go out and see a movie, watch a movie on the PS3 and ummmm.... everything else that does NOT involve the PS3's network (There are quite a few things believe it or not ). Whatever happened to a good constructive discussion instead of blasting each other out?

For each their own, and everyone's opinion should be respected.

I own a PS3, a 360, and a Wii and I like them all. Can't we just get along now, and not lead this thread to an obvious lock.

I know the PSN is down but you can still use Netflix and VUDU
All you have to do is go on Netflix and when it tells you that the PSN is down, just press the cancel button and you will be able to watch Netflix. Yhe same goes for VUDU

Yeah or play offline. Its real funny because on the PS4 thread we were talking about if the next version would be DL based like PCs have gone to or cloud based and people were like nooooo, I want my media if the Net goes down. Well, they have their media. The Net is down. And all you hear is about the million of unhappy gamers, lol. Can't make people happy no matter what, lol.
