This movie is so overrated, The once & only time a movie’s violence felt forced to me, especially the elevator scene..

Bottleneck gallery will have a really nice print for Drive at 12 PM EST today. It'll be printed on foil paper, so it should look pretty awesome in person. Second pic shows the effect a little.

Meh poster, I like the simplicity of it but there are better ways to capture what this movie's all about. Haven't seen this in a while, due for a rewatch soon.

When is violence NOT forced?! This is one of the greatest movies of all-time, in my opinion.

Personally, I liked this movie a lot.

I'm not sure it's loved enough to class it as "overrated" as some have said here.

I just wish the BD had a commentary track.

Maybe opinions have cooled over the years, but the fanbase around this thing was enormous back in 2011.

For me it's still one of the very best films released in the last 20 years. Loved every minute of it, and still revisit it quite often.

I might have gone a little overboard about it a few years back but yes its still easily one of the best films of the last 20 years.

I have this in my cart on amazon right now since it's incredibly cheap ($5), but does anyone know/think this will get another release soon...maybe 4K, or an edition with more extras like a commentary track?

Agree 100 %. I work at the Orlando airport in the customs area and yesterday Ryan came in and for about 5 minutes I was only 5 feet away from him and all I was thinking was " this is the coolest dude to ever walk this planet". That night I went home and watched Drive. It's a masterpiece imo and it's in my personal top 25 movies of all time.

The Japan Blu-ray includes an audio commentary with director Nicolas Winding Refn.

Overrated? I rarely hear anything about it.

Drive remains the only film I loved so much that I paid to import a foreign release just to get a steelbook of it at release. It's as much the filmmaking as the film itself that makes it so great.

It is, but I prefer the Only God Forgives soundtrack. Funny thing is I like Drive better if we're talking about the film itself.

I fell instantly in love with Drive the first time I saw it when it first came out. Such a great film on every level and yes the soundtrack is incredible, both the score and songs.
