Looks G1 size. In any case, my HMV steelbook is still showing as pre-ordered in my account.

The US (Sony) version. From discussions on other forums it appears the PQ is slightly better than the UK version, but that's as far as I'll comment on it, as I don't want more bashing from agitated people.

Hahahaha are you kidding? It's the classiest cover art I've seen for this. Simple and bold.

"Dumbs the film down" hahah please explain that.

Eh I don't like that. The entire film does not revolve around that jacket.

... are you serious? That's what you got from that art, that they're trying to say the film revolves around his jacket?

That's like saying a Transformers cover with a simple Autobots logo is bad because the entire film doesn't revolve around the Autobots logo.

I guess it would be better if you saw every character in a big montage, a car, a hammer...

Wow.

I normally like simple, minimal stuff.

This however, is just ugly. I prefer the actual US release cover art to it.

I agree, It's an amateurish design, especially the blood is really badly photoshopped.

It means they take a great movie with lots of varied and interesting ideas for artwork and make it really really stupid looking so people who say "hahah..." all the time think it looks kewl.

And it looks like the guy who designed it had just finished photoshopping a food label for a special offer coupon at Walmart.

I think that's what I meant.

Ah yes, varied and interesting, like a guy standing there with flaring headlights carrying a hammer, and two boxes showing the co-stars, just in case you didn't know there were people in the movie.
