is there a specific type of paper to use when printing the new cover art?

I haven't bought any in a while but I used to use some semi-gloss (I think) or glossy photo paper.

Picked up my copy today at Best Buy. Disappointed with the Blu cover art and lack of slipcover (for a slick film, it deserves more). Love the soundtrack of the film and can't wait to watch the Blu tonight!

Wow, I usually don't make a fuss over slip covers and covers, but the ones the rest of the world are getting are just flawless, especially that embossed one. That is neat. I really don't know why the US got that plain ass one.

lol just bought the uk valentines day blu ray so I could get a pink case for this cover.

It's $26.99 online, but sold out online, only in stores now. I'll need only about 5 days for a Paypal payment to clear, but I will reimburse for the shipping to Florida, US and the item, too. That pink-ish cover art is ok. I'm sure there will be even better ones in the cover art thread though. I've never printed anything nice like that from my printer. May give it a shot. If not, oh well, I can live with the sucky U.S. cover art I guess.

Also, for those wanting a pink Blu-ray case from Valentine's Day UK version, the customer images make it look like a thick 2-disc one. If you get custom covers, might have to ask the maker to stretch the spine a tad more. Just a head up, as I'm thinking of doing the same.

I just picked up the US version at BB on the way home from work. Can't wait to see it. Too bad the cover art is so bad. (the hot pink snap case is a great idea btw)

Does the cover fit on 8.5x11 paper? It says to use 8.5x14, but that's an odd size

I printed it off on 8.5 X 11 but the size of the cover art is smaller on that size paper. It looks better and bigger on 8.5 X 14 IMO.

Just finished watching my Red Box rental. Not something I will buy, but well worth watching once. Very interesting supporting performances by Ron Perlman and Albert Brooks.

Does anyone know anything about a U.S. Best Buy version? My parents went to pick up the blu-ray for me while I was at school, and they said there was some sort of Combo blu-ray. They weren't sure, so they bought me the original version (seeing as it was the one I asked for, not knowing about any exclusives). They're going to return it tomorrow to exchange it for the other version.

Until then, does anybody have any info???

At this point, I'm hoping for a special edition somewhere down the line. This is one of those instances where US retailers dropped the ball on a noteworthy title. There's no doubt in my mind had Best Buy adopted the Future Shop slipcover for the US release that additional consumer interest would have been generated for this release.

That's the standard Canadian version which comes with a slip and mini book. Us Americans got screwed over big time.
