Is it just me, or does this VHS box look legit with this design? Something about it just looks awesome. I think the worn look of the box adds a cool effect. Would have made a sweet ass VHS cover.

I have to say that's possibly the greatest fake thing that never was I've ever seen. Out of curiosity what film's case was the basis for that?

Quite impressed with the film. Loved the soundtrack, camera work, lighting etc. Really had that genuine 80's feel. The violence was certainly surprising. Not sure if it quite makes the top ten of last year, but its up there.

Well this brings me back to the early 90's. Pretty much every VHS cover looked like that. That's very well done.

If the Oscars were relevant then this film should have been nominated for best picture and best director and it should at a minimum win for best director. That is all.

My problem with the jacket is it is very reminiscent of fans buying Brad Pitt's red leather jacket from Fight Club in 1999 - The problem was all the dudes that bought that red leather jacket from Fight Club ended up looking like they were trying to be Michael Jackson. Not as they intended.

Ten out of Ten people ended up hanging the jacket as a "collection piece" and never wore it again. I wonder if the same is going to happen here with this "Ryan Gosling Scorpion Jacket"? - And where are Albert Brooks' eyebrows?

True. I watched Drive two days ago and I'm listening the soundtrack non-stop during my job time and I can't stop thinking about the movie!

I don't think that's going to happen to the Drive jacket. It's much more unique than Brad's, and it's something that can be pulled off (but not by very many mind you) in the right circumstance.

I still don't like that poster/illustration that many seem to be in love with. It looks sloppily made, it's pretty boring, and there's too much emphasis on Ryan's large nose.

The movie had to take place in 2010 or 2011. In the beginning scene with the Clippers game on the radio they mention Blake Griffin whos rookie year was 2010/11.

BTW, I loved this movie, just watched it last night.
