Tried to watch it a few days ago, but had to stop because of the violence, my kid was with me and my wife not particularly have a strong heart for blood. By that time it still didn't grab me as much I have thought I would, is it really good for me to buy the blu-ray and continue the movie?

Indeed. I'm already careful about it. My oldest child is 3 and she soaks up stuff like a sponge so I draw the line at PG with her and if it is PG it better be something like The Muppets or a children's cartoon.

Yes, but I don't believe there was a slip released in the US. The Canadian Future Shop exclusive is probably one of my favorite slips of all time (sadly, i still don't have it yet)
