Just picked up a used blu-ray of this yesterday. I liked the film but I wasn't blown away in the theater, but after watching it again last night, this is definitely better the second time around - Drive is definitely going to become a cult classic. This is definitely a mesmerizing flick.

Its a grower alright. Mind you, I loved it on first watch. I said "instant classic" as soon as I finished watching it. I havent changed my mind. That doesnt happen very often by the way!

as a sidenote: what the hell is taking this guy so long to release a trailer for Only God Forgives? Ive seen the teaser but this thing went into post production around october 2012, and it comes out in september 2013.

His twitter page mentioned that it was finished on valentines day . So where is it?

It's rare to see a full, theatrical trailer over 6 months before launch. Some movies break this, but there are reasons behind it. Wait until the end of March and the trailer might be out.

I plan on dressing up as the "driver" for this upcoming Halloween. Ebay is selling the scorpion jacket for under $100, does anybody know if there are any other places one could buy the jacket, also his driving gloves are pretty distinct as well, anybody see similar gloves online? I'm kind of going for the movie cover look (without the blood). Thanks!

+1. I seriously doubt Sony or any other studio will be re-releasing Drive at least until the sequel is finished and released.
