What a thrilling first half. If you had told me, given where Leicester this time last year, that in just one year we'd be taking the fight to Man City in an end to end battle, like for like, I would have told you to put the controller down after I stopped laughing in your face. City aren't playing badly, they're playing really really well, which says everything that Leicester are not only one nil up, but controlling them and keeping them out. Defensively, especially, we have developed into one of the best teams in the league, in my mind. Huth and Fuchs are such magnificent signings, Morgan and Kasper have ironed out old mistakes and really cemented themselves into heroes. Teams seem to always try and walk the ball in against us, and it never works. You can see the nerves, the frustration, in City the longer that half went on, it's such a great feeling.

Given how we usually come out in the second half, this game is gonna be thrilling until the dying moments unless the Man City squad, which appears to be made of glass, falls to bits before then. Seems like everyone in the squad has threatened to come off with injury in that first half, so far.

You will not wake up! Ever!

What a game! I was thinking that if they could get SOME points out of going to City and then going to Arsenal next week, they'd be in a great position because it's all downhill after that in terms of the quality of opposition. But a win like that with three points!

It's Leicester's title to lose and I no longer think that they will.

Pinch me, I still can't tell if I'm dreaming!

Funniest thing is, this loss could allow Spurs to overtake Man City on the table as well, and could you imagine if after all this Spurs quietly sneak up and clinch the title?

I dread the day when Spurs win the title. Their fans are interminably smug as they are at the moment, if they won the title they'd send the smug-o-meter sense of entitlement through the roof.

I don't really know any Spurs fans. Honestly other than Dele Alli I've not really heard much from Spurs all season, so I was shocked when I looked at the table and realised they're right in the title fight.

A point for Palace, bloody brilliant (more for the distance it keeps us from Swansea than the point itself) though that's still only our third point from the last EIGHT games.

Sunderland snatch a point at Liverpool, fantastic!

As for Leicester: it's theirs to lose. What a result, what a season.

I do know some Spurs fans and they're arrogant ********. You guys have got to win the league just to deny them the title, that'd be sweet.

Man, I'm super stoked. Finally some good results in back to back games. In pretty bad conditions and away no less. Coleman is starting to come into his own again, and Lukaku is continuing his solid output, up to 20 for the season now. I really hope we're not letting him walk after this season. While we've definitely underachieved this far, I think we still have enough time to make a push for a top 5 position. Especially with a nice, cushy part of the schedule coming up.

BTW, nice comeback for your team Steed. I though you guys were dead in the water. I guess that walkout perhaps had something to do with it. Oh well, who cares? A point's a point.

You did it again. I didn't think Leicester did enough in the transfer window but boy are they proving me wrong! Every game is a cup final now.

Pizzamorg, Amy other season I would be overcome with joy but I am so worried about my team I can't enjoy it as much.

Thanks Geoff. Not really good enough though. Any other season, it's a good point but with New astle winning its looking grimmer by the week.

A big point for Palace. 4 more points and you guys are ok.

Thanks mate. Results didn't go our way but there is still a glimmer of hope. In reality, a point wasn't good enough for us or Liverpool.

Go Everton Again!

So Vardy extended his contract. Not sure if this is a good deal or not, as Leicester could have really done with the money by cashing in. Not to say I'm unhappy about this, we all love Jamie Vardy but just talking from a business point of view.

I know, it's a shame they won but ya gotta keep plugging away. As for Palace, I saw this stat on the BBC website: "Crystal Palace became the final team in the top four tiers of English football to register a league point in 2016". In other words we were the only team in ALL FOUR DIVISIONS to have not gotten at least a point in 2016 before yesterday's game!

Eh, the extension is hardly a magic shield that prevents people from buying him, and with the new TV deal kicking in next year (not that Leicester won't be handsomely remunerated for this current one) they won't be short of funds. And you do realise that him signing an extension means that you'll actually get MORE money if/when someone comes in for him? Palace did the same thing with Zaha before Utd bought him, Tottenham did the same thing with Bale not long before he left for Real, it's standard practice.

The new contract for Vardy is a formality because if someone comes up with £40M then there's no way on Earth the board will turn that down, and having raised his own wages to something like £70K a week with his current club then there's no way another club offers him any less than £100K a week to join them. Contract extension = win/win for everyone involved. And if Vardy carries this form over to the Euros then the entire footballing world will be vying for his signature and the price will only go up, the world is his lobster. Besides, there was a photo of him in the paper yesterday wearing a designer backpack that costs a grand, the man's got standards to uphold!

How the **** was that Flamini 'tackle' not a straight red?!? The level of bias from the refs towards the big clubs makes me sick.

And how does Giroud not get a yellow for such a blatant trip? Unbelievable. Still, I'm glad Bournemouth are on the receiving end after their thuggish performance against Palace last week.

Pretty impressive that in just one weekend, City have dropped down to forth place. They've got a nice cushion between them and United if United lose or draw today but nonetheless, if they cant put together a consistent run could City possibly fall out of the top four? With the way things are going... Also, if Chelsea draw/win today they move impossibly closer to the top half of the table, they really turned it around after Mourinho left which is never something I'd expect to be saying. There is still something like forty points still up for grabs, right? Could Chelsea sneak into the top four at the last hurdle? That'd be a nice story.

Nice how? They are a plastic club with plastic fans IMO. I find it hilarious that they are struggling after ******* multi millions on a whole squad over the last few years.
