That club has a terrible way of being run behind the scenes and i don't think relegation again will teach them about their mistakes.

In the championship, they will be a big scalp. Teams will test them to their limit. If they go straight back up, great! More proper derbies. If they don't, great! Keep them quiet longer.

Not sure yet about Sunday afternoon, but shall probably watch the play off finals this Saturday and next Monday.

I'm the opposite, I could easily skip the play off final (in fact I intended to but I've had to change my plans for Saturday so will probably watch it now) but I always tune in for the CL final, thankfully it's also being made free to air like the europa league final.

Yes, don't know what it is Geoff. Maybe it's a age thing. Used to watch Barca and Madrid etc.. All the time. More excited for the play offs.

Bah part deux. Felt like a replay of the cup final, with one side supported absolutely magnificently and the other barely registering but unfortunately that doesn't win you games. What wins games is producing moments of quality and the game management to see it out against an awkward but one-dimensional opponent. Utd did it last week, Hull did it today. Shame Wednesday couldn't make it happen but Hull were simply the better side.

Right, how's the CL final gonna pan out? Another masterclass in stifling the opposition and nicking it for Atleti or will Real's sheer class tell in the end as it did two years ago?

Tough to say, it's going to be VERY competitive. Not that every EPL season is a cakewalk, but on paper it looks like there will be big battles in all of the 'mini leagues' that make up the top, middle and bottom.

I think Burnley have learned their lesson and will spend a few bob this time around, as for Hull they did just that two years ago, but got decimated by injuries to many of their new signings and never really got going - although Bournemouth proved that even that isn't a major hindrance as long as you play good football, they did brilliantly in spite of suffering a raft of early injuries themselves.

Gonna be a fun season, methinks.

This certainly does have all the ingredients to be one of the best seasons in years. Although for me this season will always be my favourite for obvious reasons haha.
