At least Moyes got plenty of boos. Hopefully Short will see sense and sack him so we can start afresh with a young ambitious manager.

Thanks bud. We've definitely been playing well as of late, but I still can't believe we let United steal a couple of points from us two weeks ago. Ugh. That just might cost us a top finish. That, and that two month long struggle early on in the season.

And yes, I'm glad Moyes is finally hearing it from Sunderland fans. I think it's long overdue. He should have been playing the young guys for weeks now to be honest.

Good goal by Sanchez tonight i was surprised Wenger changed the formation which he did not do in years against Middlesbrough but the result makes no difference and next we play Man.City in the Semi-Final of the F.A Cup.

Watched most of Gillette Soccer Special yesterday afternoon. Saw that Brighton were promoted to the Premiership but it's still to be decided who wins the Championship (Huddersfield are something like 12 points behind Brighton, so it's going to be either Brighton or Newcastle who win the league). A couple of other south coast teams have been promoted as well (Plymouth and Portsmouth have been promoted from League One up to the Championship?).

Coventry were sadly already relegated before yesterday afternoon. Fellow Midlands team Birmingham City aren't that far above third from bottom in the Championship. I saw on the Midlands news earlier that Harry Redknapp is taking over as their manager until the end of the season. He's got three games to keep Birmingham in the Championship for next season (Wolverhampton Wanderers will be playing football in the Championship next season).

It was disappointing losing to Liverpool on Sunday afternoon. At least we only let in one goal. Out of the remaining games this season, we're only going to get some points against Burnley and Swansea (and I'm not being cocky and arrogant), as I can't see us getting anything against the other teams. But with regards to Swansea, it depends on whether they need to get something from the last game of the season, if they're still fighting relegation.

We definitely need five or six new players, that's for sure. Whether we'll get some money to spend from the Chinese owner, I'm not sure.

I really think that it was a ploy to *show* the Board and the public that he can be flexible in his thinking/managing to justify a contract extension rather than doing the fans a favor by leaving at the end of this season.

And I don't understand the strategy anyway, if he wants to play that formation, he should have been doing it earlier against teams that are a big threat to score goals....not a struggling team like boro that seldom put the ball in the net.

The last time I checked the teletext earlier Rob, Anderlecht had scored an away goal, but Manchester United had equalised. So on aggregate it's 2-1 to United.
